Loved the trail. No shade except for a small patch. Love the ups and downs which is good cardio exercise Do early to avoid sun/heat.

Very beautiful trail. Almost shaded throughout so can hike anytime of the day. Only about .83miles is city trail. Then it gets into private trail which is quite narrow and on the edge of the slope. Not recommended when wet or during rain. Otherwise awesome in dry conditions. Though a short trail (About 3.3 miles round trip) it has good gradients to get you heart pumping moderately. A must do. Enjoy.

Bike ride!

Awesome paved trail. Started at CVS on the corner of Stanley and Bernal, went down Stanley to Valley and entered by the Montessori school. A little tricky finding the trail through BART, just keep going through the underpass and its to the left. I got a flat tire just before Danville, but got lucky and was able to walk about 1.5 miles to California Pedaler in Danville and they got the flat fixed in less than 10 minutes. Hoped back on the trail and rode a few more miles before heading back to Livermore.

Pleasant. Quiet. Lots of sounds from birds n squirrels. Easy n best is you don’t have to go far to find such a nice place.

Nice mostly shaded trail along a creek. You'll see some houses to your left but they disappear and then you're surrounded by beautiful trees and a dried up creek bed, at least this time of the year. Connects to the Donlon Loop with beautiful views of the whole tri-valley if you just go up the hill a bit at the end of the Morgan Creek trail. Will go back for sure!

Very nice trail. Took a quick run here and enjoyed that most of the trail was shaded.

Great little trail with enough elevation gain to get your heart pumping. Most of it was shaded and my dog enjoyed being off leash. Excellent stop from Oakland to Livermore to let my dog run before going wine tasting!

Great for rollerblading!!! It's not listed as an activity so I just picked road biking... but it's super paved and easy to skate on. So far I have only done the southern end from Dublin to Danville so I can't comment on the rest of it (yet).

I tried to do this hike today but didn’t complete it. 1. There was a large amount of cow poop. It was all over the trail and looks like it’s been there for months. I did not want to step in that and bring my to my car or home. 2. The 2.5 mile mark is in the middle of the grazing area. Large group of cows grazing. I first I wasn’t bothered because they were a short distance away. Most stayed in the hill grazing and watching me walk by but a few male cows started walking towards me. As I approached they got closer and closer to the path as if they were trying to get a closer look at me. That’s too close for comfort for me so I turned around and decided to call it quits. I don’t trust animals cause you never know what they are thinking. On a positive note the Donlon loop (I think it’s called that) has a beautiful view of the Dublin, part of Pleasanton, and part of San Ramon.

Awesome trail with great scenery and a wonderful bay breeze. Nice hills and a great work out. Would recommend.

Watching the sunset and moonrise from this location is simply amazing

Easy to moderate. Lots of shade, trees, quiet. We went on a Sunday and didn't see anyone! Wouldn't go if it was wet would be really slippery. We clocked 3.7 miles.

This was a fun trail. I saw wildlife and even saw some elusive white deer. Beautiful big trees and great hills for a nice workout. Watch for cows.

This was a cool little trail. Beautiful scenery and lots of shade. Met a few of the nice locals along the way also. For sure worth the time if you’re in the area.

Rented a bike from Dublin and biked to San Ramon with my son. It was an easy ride but it got quite hot as there wasn’t a lot of shade.

paved and gravel great for strollers and kids even a park along the way to stop at.

Nice and fairly rigorous trail. I’m not sure where the 2.8 miles comes from because it was 4.42 miles for us. We did it on a very warm day and it was fine. Lots of shade. Well maintained trail.

Very well maintained, shady. We went to the top which was 4 miles and 1000 feet of elevation

A surprising treat! From the point you can see east to the Altamont windmills, north to Mt. Diablo, and west clear to San Francisco!

Short trail with moderate inclines.

Many off-leash dogs on this trail. Also ran into a coyote on the trail after the gate, it was about 20ft away but turned around when it saw us. It’s shady and a nice uphill walk after the gate.

Plenty of shade. There were a few steep inclines, would recommend wearing hiking shoes. Saw a bobcat at the end of the trail.

Great hike! There’s a section that has very high grass you have to push through but it’s worth it to complete the loop. Check for ticks! We found a few.
