As appears to be the norm in Death Valley, in order to get to the parking lot, you have to drive for quite a bit on a dirt track with loose gravel and some larger stones thrown in for good measure. High clearance is not really necessary but it helps.
The hike itself is short and easy and, unlike pretty much anywhere else in Death Valley, you actually have some shadow along the way. The waterfall is pretty, even if in itself fairly unimpressive. The fact that it is in a desert makes it much more exciting, and if you've been in the park for a while before coming here (like we did), seeing the water and green trees was really pleasant.
I wouldn't say that this is necessarily a must-do hike, but if you want to see a slightly unusual part of Death Valley, this is a good spot!
