Excellent hike easy some of the path is paved. The park was beyond very busy and they had a line of cars out on 89 just to get in. We took Clark Creek road from 89 and found a dirt parking lot that was less than full and provided easy access to the trail. You can walk in about 1000 feet and the trail splits go either direction to access the park.

Easy hike, pretty falls

This is a great little day hangout. The falls are so beautiful and you can hear and see them the moment you arrive. There’s an opportunity to “hike” around the falls. Very short, but worth the stroll. Multiple trails, including PCT, if you’re looking for something more lengthy/difficult. Very touristy, lots of people, but a must see!

Very nice scenery one of the best Falls in California.

was BEAUTIFUL hiking

Amazing waterfall.

We enjoyed this short hike and it is an easy loop for those looking for an outing and a bit of exercise. Beautiful falls to enjoy close to the parking lot.

great short and easy hike with amazing views

Easy hike even with kids. Don’t let the steep downhill walk discourage you from going to the bottom of the Falls. Beautiful views and breathtaking photo opportunities. The Falls loop is easy enough for small children but keel them close as you climb the steep hill on the other side of the Falls. Several spots are straight down. Several resting spots along the way for those who wish to rest. Great hike for the experience hiker or just someone wishing to view nature.

Gorgeous waterfall and an easy hike around the loop. Walk the creek and look for trout, watch people fishing at the falls, see the falls from below and above. Pay $8 entrance fee/car. Worth it to see the falls. We went early in morning (10a) before parking lot filled up. By the time we left (11a) lots of people were just showing up.

2018/05/26 - just hiked to the bottom and back

One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen! Short hike down to the base, but still fun. You are so close to the falls the spray from them leaves you a bit damp. Feels great on a hot day!

beautiful hike the falls are awesome

Easy hike to a beautiful waterfall. The loop trail let’s you see the waterfall from all sides!

The hike itself isn't noteworthy, short and generally lacking views. But the areas of the trail that weave past Burney Falls are wonderful. If you're looking for a true "hike," this probably isn't a great trail for you. But if you want an easy stroll around the perimeter of the waterfall, this is an easy way to stretch the legs. (Hiked in September 2017)

Super easy and well maintained, great for families. The loop is a nice walk and the grounds are beautiful !

It was a great waterfall and view hiked the whole loop, very easy

This is a very easy Loop Hike around Burney Falls. The Falls are Majestic! So worth the 9 hour road trip and camping adventure to Burney CA! The 4 stars are for the falls! the trail is easy but a beautiful nature walk! The Falls themselves are a 10!

Great hike! The falls are stellar. I went in late September but hope to return another time in the fall when the leaves have changed!

It wasn’t too cold until we got close to the falls because of the mist. Definitely can’t wait to go again in the summer!

Lovely loop around the falls. Went in mid October. Cold and sunny. Perfect walking weather.

This is one of the hikes, you would be wanting to do time and again. This hike caters more to the falls than the hike. Some where I wonder that the mention of this falls as the 8th wonder is appropriate. The flow of water in the falls is captivating.
