beautiful hike the falls are awesome

Easy hike to a beautiful waterfall. The loop trail let’s you see the waterfall from all sides!

The hike itself isn't noteworthy, short and generally lacking views. But the areas of the trail that weave past Burney Falls are wonderful. If you're looking for a true "hike," this probably isn't a great trail for you. But if you want an easy stroll around the perimeter of the waterfall, this is an easy way to stretch the legs. (Hiked in September 2017)

Super easy and well maintained, great for families. The loop is a nice walk and the grounds are beautiful !

It was a great waterfall and view hiked the whole loop, very easy

This is a very easy Loop Hike around Burney Falls. The Falls are Majestic! So worth the 9 hour road trip and camping adventure to Burney CA! The 4 stars are for the falls! the trail is easy but a beautiful nature walk! The Falls themselves are a 10!

Great hike! The falls are stellar. I went in late September but hope to return another time in the fall when the leaves have changed!

It wasn’t too cold until we got close to the falls because of the mist. Definitely can’t wait to go again in the summer!

Lovely loop around the falls. Went in mid October. Cold and sunny. Perfect walking weather.

This is one of the hikes, you would be wanting to do time and again. This hike caters more to the falls than the hike. Some where I wonder that the mention of this falls as the 8th wonder is appropriate. The flow of water in the falls is captivating.

Best waterfall I have ever seen in person!

One of the most beautiful falls I have seen. The loop trail is short. It is possible to hike through to lake Britton, keeping in mind that parts of the trail may be closed due to erosion. Swimming is not possible in sapphire pond; it is possible at the lake.

the waterfall speaks for itself

Yes #1 Falls Hike however not much of an actual hike - more of a destination. Easy to find but parking was a mess because it was really busy. Did the short loop.

Nice historical hike from inside Burney Falls state park.

Easy with the kiddos (we had 8 kids with us from ages 2 up to 18) they all loved the loop! There's just a couple places we needed to hold hands since the trail narrows along some of the steeper climbs.

Easy trail. Paved most of the time. Beautiful waterfall with easy access. Crossing the creek on the two foot bridges makes it easy and fun for small kids. Worth the short hike, don't pass up this one.

A great way to spend a day

A great place to spend the day.

A bit overcrowded but impressive. Bring your fishing pole and make sure to grab an ice cream cone. They are delicious and not ridiculously over priced.

I love it here we have been about 5 times this was my first time doing the loop and it was beautiful

This was by far one of the best places I have ever visited. The waterfall is so amazing. It only cost $8.00 to enter the camp site, after that it is so beautiful. It's not a hike at all, just a walk down and walk back up. A must see place. Two thumbs up!

This trail is in a state park. You have to pay an entrance fee and then deal with swarms of people. The trail is heavily used and goes around the waterfall. The waterfall is beautiful. Just know that it is very busy.
