The trail of poison oak has been cleaned up! Excellent easy trail. Great for getting the blood going! If your are not a fan of wind, this might not be for you. Bring a jacket and just enjoy the fact that you are alive! It’s a beautiful world out there! Take time to enjoy this mountain and it’s beauty. A quick escape from SF.

a bit cold in the fog but great trail to walk/ run

Awesome views of the city! It does get pretty windy so I would recommend a light jacket.. we were there early so parking wasn’t bad and it wasn’t too crowded.. I would totally come back to this park ...

Great view of San Francisco from the top!

I caught out after dark going the wrong way on this mountain. Now I always carry a headlamp

Great views, lots of exposure; poison oak galore

Quick and easy trail to feel like you’re “getting out of the city”. Great panoramic views at the top. A lot of shaded areas along the route. The peak is typically windy, cold and foggy so bring a jacket with you. Parking is $6.

good nice view just watch for the dog poops. Otherwise nice trail

Lovely unexpected views! Lots of poison oak on the trails, wear long pants

Great longer hike that's still close to the city. Beautiful views of San Francisco and the water along with wildflowers.

Great easy going hike right outside the city. Parking 6dollars.

I won’t recommend this trail until they clean the poison oak. You must wear LONG pants and LONG SLEEVES T-shirt on this trail. Otherwise, the plants blocking the trail are going to scratch your skin :(
As they charge for parking, I am quite disappointed that the trail lacks of basic maintenance.

Beautiful views along the ridge trail and highly recommended as an orientation to the area. Only downside is the north/western part of the loop trail is not well maintained and is constricted with vegetation... leading to wet pants from the dew in the morning or exposure to cuts if wearing shorts. I recommend taking the direct portion of the loop trail (heads directly south from the trailhead) versus the longer route to the west which is not well maintained.

Pretty nice! Fairly easy hike with some great views. I’d recommend wearing long pants as the brush is tight to the path in some places. Lots of interesting wildflowers and a fair amount of wildlife (birds, rabbits). $6 to get in $6.25 with credit card).

Heard a hiss in the bush while on Eucalyptus trail. Did not stick around to investigate. I’m assuming big kitty. Otherwise a lovely experience. I would return.

Great hike! Took the ridge trail then the loop back tons of spring flowers right now.

Best close-to-downtown 1hr powerwalk. Sweeping views of Alameda, East Bay, City, Tam, and Pacifica. Often windy and exposed.

I ran clockwise on the Summit Loop trail and then 1.5 miles out and back onto the Ridge Trail before rejoining and finishing the Summit. In total it was 7 miles with 1200 feet elevation gain and I loved every minute of it as the views are gorgeous and the wildflowers are just starting to pop out! Beware of the poison oak!

My staple trail while living in Oceanview. This is a great place for a morning run or walk. The trail is steep at some times but moderate and the views of SF are awesome!

Good hike really close to downtown SF, only 15-20 minutes driving! As the name suggests, the majority of this hike is fully exposed so bring sunscreen and a decent amount of water. Was surprised at the amount of fully grown poison oak along the trail this early in the season, and the trail is much narrower at the beginning than I anticipated, so long pants are a must!!

Great views of San Francisco. Unfortunately it might be very windy.

Great views! Can get really windy so bring something to cover your ears!

ok if you live near San Francisco and want an easy walk in the morning or a picnic. We drove from San Jose did the whole thing and liked it but felt like there were many others better than this one without having to drive 1 hour
