The Blythe Intaglios are gigantic (up to 170 feet), prehistoric etchings in the ground, depicting people/gods and animals. They look better from the air than from the ground, but seeing them at ground level gives you some idea of how hard it is to design such figures. The bumpy trail to the intaglios is passable with care in a regular passenger vehicle. Or if you prefer, you can park along Hwy 95 and walk about a mile. Either way, to find the intaglios, look for the chain link fences that surround them. Pretty cool archaeology side trip!Show more
