Great for new trail runners

Great trail, pretty—we went slow because we had little legs with us. Beautiful and highly recommend.

But windy, lots of people, but still excellent.

Easy to walk/run up the trail, then it becomes very narrow. Overall easy

Great hike through Tilden with great views in all directions. Most of the path is paved if that matters to you.

The uphills were just challenging enough & we worked up a good sweat going at a moderate pace. But let me tell you about the juicy panoramic views sweeping across all of Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco & the list goes on.

Very few people on the trail on Memorial Day. Hot but the shady spots provided great relief. Awesome views as usual. Lots of foxtails so beware if you have a dog with you.

Great trail! Avoid middle of the day, not a lot of shade

Follow the advice offered by previous reviews: do it counterclockwise! It will be the wisest decision you make today. If you go counterclockwise, uphill has less shades and downhill has more. At the top, some parts can be overgrown. This trial is challenging but fun at the same time. A pair of good anti-slippery hiking shoes will help tremendously.

Ok trail, not the best. It gets pretty crowded. A good part is on paved road. On the plus side, plenty of parking at Inspiration Point

Such a nice hike about 30 minutes outside of SF. Fortunately, it was only lightly trafficked. Wear plenty of sunscreen, there is a lot of trail with no shade. We saw deer, an owl, lots of birds, lizards, wildflowers and beautiful views. There was plenty of parking at the trail head and on the road nearby.

nice paved trail. has constant up and down variation to keep you challenged. There appear to be offshoot trails; will try another day. Lovely shady spots amongst the eucalyptus trees. view towards golden gate and opposite side toward inspiration point. would go again. didnt go up the gravel trail at the end to the right (more view). didnt continue straight of the paved. looked more for biking.

This is a nice wide trail with lots of different trail connections and overlooks. Rocks and dry dirt - some wildflowers too. I really enjoy hiking here.

A serious workout no matter your pace, steady uphill climb. So many amazing views with rewards at every stage. I recommend hiking boots or a pole for the steep rocky downhill as I was concerned I might slip a few times. There are benches and other plateaus to sit with stunning panoramic views if you want to read, picnic or just relax. Highly recommend this trail whether you spend ten mins or six hours you’ll be glad you came.

Great views of the bay, rocky, go early to avoid crowds.

Lots of great wildflowers! Nice and mellow on a Tuesday, enough space to pass anyone else hiking. Parking lot is open 5/19

Great trail , really easy , good for me I just enjoyed the view and the nature .

BEAUTIFUL views and lots of wildflowers. We made the hike about a mile longer by going all the way down Sea View trail to the Rd before turning back. The trails were for the most part wide enough to pass others while maintaining distance which was great. Our dog got a tick on the trail by running through some of the grassy parts, so be aware and check your pets! Parking lot at trailhead was open.

Panoramic views. You can see Bay Bridge, Golden Gâté, and Richmond bridges all from the same spot.

Nice park but lots of freeway noise. Ducks, cyclists, disc golf. Connects to overpass bridge that takes you to Bay trail.

Trail and parking lot open.

Really lovely short easy hike. Took my two dogs. Bad for COVID since trail can be very narrow. My dogs came back home with lots of ticks! Even found one on my neck so beware!

Easy and paved until the very end. If you're going all the way up, try to do so on a clear day to get the most of the view. Parking lot was almost full Friday around lunch time.

Steep

Too small place to run or hike, it is more like a dog park. Saw an Albany police car patrolling the area.

Great Trail with amazing views. Note that informaiton about parking is not correct. The lot is open.

The uphill was brutal, wicked workout. Great views along the way. Followed by a easy trek downhill. I do recommended downloading the map and using it cuz it gets a little tricky on the way down.
