Length: 4.9 mi • Est. 2 h 37 m
This loop begins at Horse Camp inside the Park ($10 fee - have to have exact change usually). You can also start this hike from just outside the park and leave your car on Avenida Altura Bella (there's a sign right there at the trail entrance). Part of the hike is "back country" until you meet the ridge. You can also make this a bigger loop if you combine it with Ridge Trail loop. Note - in late January, there are lots of Ticks in the "back country". Do frequent Tick checks. Show more

Length: 3 mi • Est. 1 h 13 m
Dramatic ridge views abound on much of this loop. It is quite steep in areas (arms and leg needed sometimes), but doable, and not scary. You may not see anyone during your hike. It may be slightly overgrown in places, but you only need rudimentary trail finding skills here. Show more

Note: The parking lot has a fee. Bogart Park is a beautiful county park in Beaumont with several very scenic areas. This route can be added to other scenic areas within the park, or done just by itself. It should not be missed if you haven't done it. It features single track trails with trees, undergrowth (depending on the time of year), a stream (which largely disappears underground during summer), some scenic vistas, and nice hillside ledges. There are even some scenic benches in the lower part of the park.Show more

Note: Although this trail can be mountain biked, it is more suitable for hiking. It's an exposed hike with little shade. Can be very steep, though no drop-offs.Show more
