This is a great winter hike!! Especially for the family..

A nice trail with many offshoots. You can go a lot farther than 2 miles. Some parts are pretty steep, and can get a little slippery underfoot so take care.

great trail for exercise. I took my 3 year old Mia hiking and she loved it. I really enjoyed crossing the bridge over the river.

Great for a bike ride. This trail was fun riding with friends.

Did work experience here and helped create some trails. Hard work but I enjoyed how beautiful it was out there. Feels good to know I helped this great organization.

I had a Great time with my Bakersfield College Forestry class on this trip. This place is awesome and they are doing a great job at preserving this place for people to enjoy.

My favorite trail. Good for getting in a distance run. Especially nice after a good rain.

This hike was okay. Wild life not really present. The view was good to see if you want a quick get away from Bakersfield stress life. Family friendly trail and if you dig in certain areas you will find prehistoric shark teeth.

This place was amazing. Beautiful view and the letters in the jar are very inspirational. I wonder if my letter is still up there in that Jar. Sad that people become land greedy and ruin it for nature lovers. #native

I don’t really consider this “easy” some steep areas that get your heart rate up. I would say this is between easy and moderate. Take water.

Would love to figure out a way to encourage the property owner to give it to the forestry in trade for other property so it could be opened back up. It was an amazing hike and close to town. Because it was close, it encouraged those that needed it most to get out of the house and get some much needed exercise.

Climbing up is a lil struggle on a bike but if you are strong it is a good workout. On the way back you just fly down. Make sure to take the exit towards the gazebo. My friend went the other way and wrecked real quick in the lil stream you have to cross. Fun bike though for novice bikers.

This trail was easy not much of an incline. Dog friendly for sure. beautiful views.

Had the place to myself on a Tuesday afternoon. Encountered 2 juvenile mountain lions, 2 coyotes, and a baby rattlesnake. Some pretty cool views of the canyon. I’ll probably visit again when the hillsides get some green!

Icon views. Easy but worth it and great for kids and all levels of hiker. Absolutely gorgeous.

This is a great app for my wife and I. We have never hiked much and now we have our for loves to hike. It gives all the info we need

Completed in our JK (3" lift & 35" A/T tires). No real challenge, but it was nice to explore the area. Lot of no trespassing signs along the route. We came across several cows/cattle on the trail (more like a fire road). Probably won't do again as we are from SoCal area, just up here camping at Lake Isabella for the week.

Awesome for the family. My wife and I have four kids ages 13, 10, 6, and 2. We had a great time. The park trail has pick nick tables into the hike, which is awesome for the little ones to take a break....

very nice and place to walk on it, I did all the 7.8 miles by my self and my camera canon gx7, backpack with 20lb and water, 2 hours going to the end and 1hr going back to where it start, I really enjoyed it. thank you,
by the way I love your application it work super nice it help a lot.

Awesome 4 miles hike

One of the best trails I ever hiked but it’s closed now.

Love this app. I really helps keep you motivated.

what a great morning hike with my daughter just a little over 9 miles felt amazing saw lits if birds and some deer early in the morning would love too do it again

Great easy walk. Peaceful. The doggies loved it!

Great trail during early spring! Just do it before it gets too hot!

love this place. many trails, kid friendly. great place to make memories with your children and/or grandkids.

great trail! I would rate it as heavily trafficked. Good for dogs. Be advised that shade is non existent for much of the trail, so bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
