Love this place. 3 miles to the end and back or make it what you want. Bathrooms at both ends a plus.

Nice walk. Plenty squirrels and ducks

Trail works well in conjunction with a loop around the reservoir as well. With two loops around the reservoir included, it totals 5.2 miles

Very clean and nice atmosphere. Trail is pretty easy. Really close to my home and was pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful it is here.

I love this trail, usually. This time I took my 5 year old grand daughter because this trail is semi-easy, has stairs & is well kept, but the brush was a little overgrown so it blocked partial pathways, & after about a mile into the Wren trail, it was blocked off & nobody was allowed to cross the tape. Very disappointing. But, normally, this is a great trail with many different adjoining trails that include, streams, trees, inclines, wildlife, lizards, mostly, shade & stairs. It has a few semi-challenging hills, but not too bad. It's a nice hike for parents with children. No dogs allowed on trails.

lots of wildlife! we saw woodpeckers, lizards, a rattlesnake, squirrels, fish, birds and goats! the roadrunner trail scaled the mountain and didn't give shade so I didn't like that one but the bluebird trail was nicer- it went up really high! The lower areas have lots of shade and lots of water! no hobos, very clean trail, not crowded, lots of shade, free parking.

This Trail is a 3 mile loop if you follow the pavement around the perimeter. There is a large sign at the beginning of the route that indicates the route is a 5.5k loop. Using a satellite hiking tracker, it comes to 3 miles when I do the loop There are in let and outlets to the trail to make it shorter or longer. It is mostly flat and scenic with 3 small lakes. There are clean restrooms and picnic tables, lots of shade trees, squirrels, ducks, and geese. I see dog walkers, runners, and hikers on the route. The riverbed is nearby and an easy 3 mile loop can turn into several miles if you challenge yourself by adding the river bed route which bikers often do. I've added the length of the river bed in each direction for a 7.65 mile hike and got a good workout. Clean restrooms and clean grounds always nearby make it a favorite of mine. Usually populated on the weekends but I use it during the week and it's very quiet with a few people.

Working on going longer distances and this was a great trail for that. Mostly flat and shaded with trees or bridges. Mostly joggers, walkers and bikes on trail. Not overly crowded.

Nice and easy

For southern CA this is a good one that is kid friendly and pleasant with the creek and vegetation. Lots of bridges too. The nature center is only open saturdays and sundays.

Very enjoyable. There is a lot of shade and the entire trail is very clean. Benches are located throughout for a quick rest, great photo ops, and birds to look at. It’s very peaceful and everyone is so friendly.

Beautiful. Good workout.

love it as always!

Lots of greenery and a creek that runs through the center makes this trail feel like you are in the woods but in fact it is tucked in between neighborhoods. We went on a Saturday and there were lots of photographers doing photo sessions as well as a wedding going on. A weekday is probably better to go. The only bummer is that you can’t bring dogs. Kid friendly

Nice area for a short hike with shade groves that seemed to be popular for outdoor family pictures

Great little hike many trails to her on quick and easy to get a couple miles in

Is an easy walk, not hike trail. lots of birds, but I didn't see the cave. yes it's true fences in both sides. I did difficult hikes and this is just a relax walk if you don't like it... better for me less traffic

Super easy and calming i loved it

I love this walk. I frequent with my girlfriends. I feel safe and enjoy the surroundings.

All the hikes at the oak canyon nature center are fairly easy, and kid-friendly. Definitely grab a map to keep track of all the different trails that you can do since most are short and easy. Some are shaded, some are in the sun. Be respectful of private property owners in the surrounding areas.

Love this neighborhood walk. Easy way to get some exercise anytime of the day. You can bicycle here too. Not great for dog walking.

Easy, good With Kids! Beautiful hills, lots of trail. Always our favorite!

Beautiful trail and very well maintained. Nice flat walk with a great view of today’s snow covered mountains.

This place is so beautiful. We came to so a short hike on 3/2/18 and it was awesome. Me and my dog were the only ones on the trail.

I loved here! My son and my dog were leading the way. It’s peaceful and quiet and we got to see amazing views and clouds...

Love it. Pleasant, nice to look at as you go, trail is paved, easy to walk on, excellent for non-reactive leashed dogs, (quite a bit of foot traffic at times).
