Short and moderately strenuous. Good for a quick escape from the city. Most of the trail is sheltered by trees until near the top and not too many people use it's pretty peaceful relative to other more popular trails in the mountains.

There are some cool city views from the top of Mount Disappointment but otherwise it's not worth the detour.

Small amount of free parking at the bottom of the trail: according to the rangers you don't need a Forest Adventure Pass for this one.
