Nice, short, 3-mile trail. The waterfall was completely dried up. The beginning of the loop doesn’t match up with the All-trails trail map. If you want to start up the right side of the loop, it starts just off the parking lot. Parking was $3.00 all day until 5:00 pm. The right side of the loop follows the creek bed & what would be the waterfall area.

Great for a quick hike. Will definitely come back in the fall after some rain.

No dogs! This is a very narrow downhill mountain bike trail with bikers reaching up to 30mph. Don’t put your dogs at risk. You will also get a ticket by the park rangers and yelled at by the other hikers and bikers. Don’t be a Karen or Kevin. The only trail that allows dogs in this area is west ridge trail. It’s a great trail. Stay on it

This is my first time here, with a hardtail 29er. I don’t remember all the names of the runs but there were quite a few runs with different difficulties. I stayed mostly on the intermediate runs. I dabbled on one advanced run, and it’s best if you keep your speed up with less braking otherwise you’ll skid out on the steep, smooth sections. A full suspension setup would probably do better, but my bike held. There were maps throughout the whole place, but they were missing the “YOU ARE HERE” icon. Thank goodness for this app, I was able to navigate or guess my way out. The uphill part back to the park isn’t bad....well worth it

Road is wide enough to share w/ bikers and runners. No shade gentle and easy elevation for beginners. seating areas (even tale ) at the top Normally I prefer loop over out&back but it comes different beautiful views not bored at all. definitely will visit again.

Very open and beautiful scenery. I like the option to walk on the paved road. I did not do the entire trail though. But would like to some day.

Fun hike some parts more than others. I like the interior portion of the hike the most. I don’t like being near the roadways, but with this location what can you do? Loved the hike. Great blend of views, big trails, tight trails, steep areas and mellow areas. The best part is the ocean breeze. Even on a warm day you stay cool. Lots of options around to make the hike longer.

Great trail for beginners. It was a bit muddy from the light rain this morning but still hikable. Lots of hikers with their dogs. Took us 2 and a half hours to do the easy west ridge trail. We hiked up to the top of the hill top where the park is and back to where we started. Had an amazing city and ocean view at the top. Although, I took frequent breaks during incline, it was still manageable for those who isn’t much experienced with hiking like myself. There’s also trials that are medium and harder to do if you’re into that. The best part, it’s free!

LOVE IT. Such beautiful scenery the whole way.

Beautiful trail for a local easy access run or mountain bike

Love this hike. Willow trail is steepish - 8% grade. Even though it’s urban you feel somewhat isolated. Great view usually but ‘unhealthy for sensitive individuals’ haze rendered view to almost nothing. You can glimpse the ocean if you follow the Bommer trail up top for a bit. A lot of gnats this time, bring bug spray. Watch for bikers moving fast downhill. $3 parking fee.

This trail had such a diverse scenary! I recommend going clockwise and getting the worst of the climb over plus the views and atmosphere is remarkable the last third if the way. The only problem was the gnats

I just finished this one. I didn't even scratch the surface though. I didn't realize this was part of Laguna Coast Wilderness park. There are a lot of trails. I took the dirt road on the left which was a big incline, hit Boomers Spur to upper Laurel and back down through lower Laurel. Beautiful hike and I'll be back to do the rest. There are a lot of gnats so bring bug repellant.

This was a great hike. We took our wolf cub scouts on this hike and they survived. It was steep for them in some areas, but overall very good trail conditions. The creeks were dry.

Excellent hike with children. Flat terrain with nice woodsy trail for first 1/3 but shared mountain bike trail for last 2/3. Good views. Somewhat urban. Otherwise would be 5/5.
