Not much to see but a good cardio workout, especially the last 1/3. Up, up, up!

Pretty trail. You can hear a bit of traffic from toll road. Peaceful yet. Dirt and concrete trail through campground. Overlooks dry creek bed. Mostly shaded which was nice. Easy Trail. Pups loved it

Nice LONG walk! Not crowded.

Had a wonderful day riding bikes and enjoying the beach. Great day!

Easy hike, wide trails without much elevation gain. Great for beginners, family outings, or getting back into it. A fair amount of other hikers, including horses. Not enough to be crowded, but enough to know you're not going to be forgotten and eaten by mountain lions.

This is a good park to visit if you are already in the area, but it’s not the kind of place that you would seek out otherwise.

First of all, the trail is both short and paved. It pretty much is a giant rectangle that goes along the perimeter of Capitol Park. If you live in the area, I think this would be a good place to practice a 5K in the early morning before people start coming to work at the nearby office buildings.

It gets very busy over the lunch hour, so while you could still walk then, you will have to dodge lots of people if you want to practice running during that time.

Overall, a nice place for a walk, but nothing to seek out for people outside of the immediate area.

Beautiful coastal beach trail that's easy and open and there's to see of doggies to see!

No better place to watch the sunset.

Love this place. Perfect for biking

So many Trail options once you get there. Best maps and signage of any park I’ve seen. You can hike near the water for 7 Miles in a loop.

It seemed like it took forever since most of the time you are looking into an empty field. This was my first time but overall I did like it so it wouldn’t be my last.

Easy hike, nice scenery. Great with young kids

It was a great hike, but by no means easy!! Maybe I took the wrong hike. I started down at the other parking lot because the first one was full. Starting from there, it was a lot of downhill, then a little bit of flat by some picnic tables, and then a LOT of uphill. Where was the EASY hike?

If you’re looking for a paved trail this is great. Beautiful views all around and good odds of seeing wildlife (deer, snakes, birds etc.), but very heavily trafficked so not as serene as other trails in the area. It makes for a nice but gentle workout and can be done in a little over an hour. The wide road makes it perfect for going with friends or family and chatting along the way.

Not really a hike (all flat) but worth seeing!

A nice hike best in the spring. I went the first week of April and all of the waterfalls were amazing! It was also fun to go over the stream from a waterfall to get to the trail at the beginning. The area by the lake can get a little crowded.

Quick and easy hike that takes under an hour. Checked it out to test the new dog on hikes... will return for leisure strolls often. We found a dinosaur hidden in the cracks of one of the rock walls and only then because the sunlight was hitting it just right. What a funny little treat!

Beautiful and easy hike! The Middle Falls were definitely the show stopper. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy day with amazing views.
