Wonderfully flows and twists. And has crushed gravel single track on either edge.

Good walk, would be great to bike.

nice walk with our baby in the umbrella stroller. nice views too!

new county policy you must have a reservation to park booked in advance. also they charge for the reservations. they pay park rangers to stand out and collect the money.

Short but sweet. Hiking out was a bit of a chore due to the grade and, after swimming all day, we were feeling it. We passed two guys hauling an ice chest full of fish back up, bless 'em. Totally worth it to swim in the bay and sit by the trees.

Short, easy and pretty. But also unbelievably crowded with many people being their most annoying selves, showing absolutely no regard for anyone or anything else, just so they have the "perfect" Instagram picture...

As far as reward to effort ratio goes, you can't get much better than this. The walk from the parking lot to the viewpoints is short, paved, mostly flat and, understandably, pretty crowded. Actually, just finding parking space can be quite tricky. The views of the valley and especially the Half Dome are absolutely stunning though and I really can't recommend this highly enough.

Beautiful falls that are perhaps too close to the road. There are just too many people everywhere, scrambling on the rocks, screaming on top of their lungs and in general exhibiting the sort of "crowd behavior" that one would expect to see at an amusement park rather than in nature.
That said, it is definitely wort stopping by if you're driving past.

stairs washed out for glass beach, but it has beautiful views

We went there with our dog. It was pretty difficult for us... first part of the trail without shade, so it was very hot, also was very noisy since you walk near the road. The second part was more shady (we also saw a snack). Next to the creek it’s really nice and there are some places where you can get closer and get inside the creek. Overall it was nice.

Amazing views of downtown SF

A beautiful place to come with the children. They can lead the way and discover the beauty while respecting nature. Just be sure to bring $2 for the parking!

Enjoyed the birding photo opportunity.

Easy trail with beautiful view along the way.

It’s a great trail for all ages. I had foot surgery in Jan and this was my first time completing the trail since (now aug). Shaded in the morning and afternoon. We try to shoot for 2 pm when the weather is nice in the summer. This trail is paved and will take you all the way to Avila Beach. It’s great for walking, biking, jogging, kids, dogs and adults.

I am A Lincoln resident and have been since I was a baby and I absolutely love the trails I ride my bike everyday. I’m not a resident of SC but I’m polite when I ride and I’m quiet when there teeing off. So if the people that are posting “residents only” there the old farts angry with no friends that cause they pay fees we have no right to pass through smh. Well wake up call, if you live in lincoln on newer side your probably paying fees whether u live in sun city or not!! . I haven’t had one complaint about me riding through. I’m not in anyone’s way but enjoying what the trails and let me tell you these sun city folks have many many many trails so share the trails peeps just trying to stay healthy!!

El Dorado county needs to start connecting the trails (either dg it or pave it ) and have it go continuously past Camino on into El Dorado National Forest, I love biking it, it's a good trail

Very nicely done by the city of Sacramento! Maybe a 3+ but too flat and too little to see for anything higher. Did see what looked like a Peregrine Falcon but a Falcon for sure and not a hawk. Two miles of sidewalk through at least 3 city parks and a couple of schools. Clean and well taken care of... No homeless like Modesto and Manteca. Connects up with other trails on both ends...

Easy walk on Alameda South Shore. Great views of the bay and the city along the beach.

Nice paved trail that goes in and out of the neighborhood. Wear sunscreen there is little to no shade.

Beautiful trail from lower to upper falls. Most of the trail is fairly easy, hardest part is from middle falls to upper falls, fairly step switchbacks. Not overly difficult but be prepared with water and a hat during the warmer summer months. All in all though the views are pretty and the trails are mostly flat and easy to walk.

lots of big Redwoods and easy pull outs if you want to drive slower and enjoy. black errors on the side of the road near the top, and a few trail heads. great scenic drive. for even more break off down Mattole Road and there is a lovely loop a mile before Albee campground

Short hike, the lower portion is paved and accessible, great views and even some connecting trail options, including a nice viewpoint to a rocky overlook. Upper part via the initial "plank trail" takes you to the top and fire lookout, with a great 360 view. Go on a clear day. On top of the east peak of Mt. Tam, this hike is worth a stop with great views of the city and surrounding areas. The pay station was overstuffed, had not been emptied for a while.

Short and sweet hike for those looking for a low key jaunt. Pretty atmosphere.

Nice, easy, fast walking trail(s). Pick your route for how long you want to hike.

Nice trail with many opportunities to view wildlife and gorgeous rock formations. Also food and restrooms available along the way. An easy walk.
