My vehicle of choice was a Trikke Freedom (which was not one of the options). The trail relatively smooth, level and is asphalt paved. There are areas where tree roots have pushed up the road bed. There are other areas that have long cracks (mostly parallel to the direction of travel).

Amazing

Enjoyable morning on the trail! Loved the view along the entire hike, as well as seeing cows and turkeys! We started at the Stanford gate and leisurely did the whole loop in about and hour and 20 minutes.

Easy trail and great with all the water. If you want to get close bring a rain coat

Nice easy trail to walk on. The incline is steep coming back up but the path is smooth.

This was a nice quick one. It has a great view of the waterfall which we caught in the late afternoon with the sun behind the falls. It is gorgeous at that time. There are great views of the valley driving up to it from the north side.

Great w friends but I took my dog and there were a lot of unfriendly dogs on the path that live in the neighborhood. Would never bring my dog back but may do a walk with friends. 3 stars bc i felt unsafe due to the nature of the dogs wanting to attack mine. But yes it is cool plce with interesting houses. Not something I would go to rountinely.

Big Tree in 2012 [not sure if they change this periodically] - 304 ft. high, 21.6 ft. in diameter, 68 feet in circumference, and over 1500 years old... nice flat walking trail that starts and ends at the BIG tree.

Great views, awesome benches along the way, flowers, seals...makes it easy to walk and not think about the actual walk itself not

Nice walk - nothing difficult. Not well marked at the end so tough to get down to the river. We ended up using a “trail” that required we navigate some big boulders (and lots of poison oak) but in the end it was all worth it

Very easy walk straight to the bottom of Yosemite Falls - AMAZING view of the water fall as you walk to it - eventually you cross the bridge where the wind and mist soak you if you stand there long enough - we went in May when I think the water fall is at it’s peak strength.

We took our stroller and it was an easy leisurely walk.

Best place in the park to see many giant Sequoias together. In the meadow we saw 2 bears and a family of dear all at once!

Easy walking trail. Get to see (and smell) the bay. Pretty wild flowers when we went. Not crowded on a Friday afternoon.

The waterfall is incredible in the springtime!

A pretty easy hike, if you’re worried about tripping, cross the bridge and take the paved road. Do not attempt to walk on rocks. We saw a man slip and fall in and be taken away in an ambulance.

Good morning walk / run path. Not too crowded and “in the city”. It has road crossing scattered throughout that can be a bit disappointing if you get in a grove and have to stop.

A must see! Especially in the Spring—the waterfall is insanely powerful and breathtaking! Pretty easy hike.

Super easy Trail for a good view.

Beautiful trail for an evening walk. Great view of Stanford Campus. Not too many trees. Well maintained.

This was our families first little hiking trip and we absolutely had a blast. I have a 5 year old and 4 month and we all did this with a breeze. Very Easy.
The drive in was fun, very winding roads. Free parking. Nice spot halfway through by the river, sandy area to have lunch. There is also random picnic tables along the trail.

Great for Kids! little dinosaur toys along the trail. Would be a fun tradition to place a new dinosaur somewhere special. Definitely will come again.

Very crowded, but only takes about 20 minutes and you get a stunning view of the lower falls. Also: lots of spray right now.

Great hike. Start at the lower falls and work your way up. Watch for lizards and squirrels. Middle falls is the most spectacular in my opinion - the water is still pretty cold, but you can go for a swim there.

Great easy hike. Found a few newts along the way. The end has a beautiful view of the river.
