Took just a short trip down the road to the first falls. Saw a couple young guys jumping off into the water. Pretty chilly since it was March 3rd. Very nice drive. Will be better in a couple weeks when the dogwoods start to blossom.

This is a road, not a trail. It's the main dirt road that takes you to the trail head for Hawksbill.

One of my favourite places, the natural bridge and caves were amazing. We've done it twice and will again.

Easy. Not crowded.

Pretty place and I'm sure it's even better in the summer when you can take a dip in the pool.

Decent trail completely different than Van Winkle. Not much to see and a little more difficult than Van Winkle. A lot less traveled and maintained. All in all good addition to the Van Winkle can easily do both trails for 3-4K steps.

Took our dogs there. It’s a real short trail so we went around it a few times. A few small areas of water but nothing to brag about. The trail is great for beginners that want to get away from crowded walking paths.

One of the most worthwhile trips I have made. Always a must see.

Beautiful hike but expected a little more to see.

I did an out and back. Steep grades at the trailheads. Not as long as advertised but if measured by steps maybe. Trees down blocking path on north end. Had to bushwhack some to complete it. Poison ivy and mosquitos. Repellent and breakaway pants rids those problems.

very beautiful drive, lots of falls that can be seen from the road, or just a short hike off the road. gorgeous area, will definitely go back, if your in a car I would suggest stopping and going back once you hit the campground, drove way down that rock/dirt road and had to turn around because there was literally a river to drive through!

Cave mountain is a drive from Ark 21 hwy back to and including the hike to the Hawksbill Crag overlook.

Hawkbill Crag is a premiere Ark. hike. a must do. It can be busy in the summer months. Many waterfalls in the area.

Great views everywhere you look. We drove it at sunset so we had the sun behind us and the moon popping up in front. Great time, thanks Arkansas!

Glad I wore bug spray and long pants. Only did the Pioneer blue and white blaze section from the Nature Center. I went a little past the Pioneer shelter and was glad that I did as the path had some interesting change. Have to watch your footing as it can be muddy in some spots, and tree roots in others. Trail was hard to see sometimes because the leaves are starting to fall.

Saw a lot of snake holes. There are some hills, but was a little easier on my knees then the red Woodland Trail

Beautiful anytime of the year!

This could very easily be one of my all time favorite places. Love it all the time, but especially in the fall with the Elk!
