Walking

Nice easy paved trail around the lake. Flat for the most part except for a few places with slight elevation. Great for walking, biking, walking the dog. Pretty lake view.

Trails not great. Muddy mess. Swimming at the falls was the only redemptive qualification. Don’t believe the sign; terrible for bike rides

Fun trail. As others said you can see and / or hear cars most of the time. Watch out for mountain bikers.

There were lots of webs and horse flies, but we really enjoyed this trail! Easy, clearly marked. Beautiful area. Will definitely be going back in the fall.

Went on a Sunday morning. Only passed 1 other person. Easy hike. Was pretty humid and spider webs across the trail but decent views of the lake and saw a few whitetail.

I love the trails but thugs have discovered this park & are now breaking into cars & stealing things that dont belong to them. So if you go here, be sure to leave your purse & all valuables home.

Super cool area. Trail is easy enough for all ages and skill levels. I was the first one out at 7 am and ran into tons of spider webs, but it was really peaceful.

Well marked trails, well maintained property. Benches were spaced nicely throughout the park. Good hiking for a family except the upper most part f the trail. Only the top 100 yards are difficult.

An enjoyable trail that’s not too difficult. It’s pretty steep the whole way up with lots of rock, so make sure you’ve got some solid shoes. The way down can be difficult, but it had rained right before so it was a little slick. Lots of good finds, so bring something to carry them in!

Hubby & I did the loop yesterday; trail was easy to follow, we had no problems. Encountered a few people: 2 families and 2 couples out for a ‘run’.

We did the lake loop today. Mostly shady so wasn’t too hot. As others have posted, the trail isn’t well marked. Easy to follow lake shore on one half of the trail. Once you can’t see the lake any more We kinda missed our trail at marker 27 and had to backtrack some. Nice trail and dam bridge to cross. We will probably go back again sometime.

I'm surprised the reviews are this high actually! The end of the trail is worth the walk, but the trail is extremely muddy with tons of spider webs if you are just hiking instead of horseback. A lot of people are saying you need to cross six fingers falls, but that's not true! If you are at six fingers falls and coming back up from the river to leave, take a right and continue down the road along the river. You will quickly pass over a bridge, and almost immediately after the bridge you will see an unmarked opening to a trail. That will take you straight to Fuzzy Butt Falls. This is where the horses start the trail.
