It was a great, shaded hike!

Shady and quiet trail. Requires enough effort to feel like a workout but still easy to walk.

This trail was pretty nice! Although, it could use a bit of maintenance, probably due to all the rain. It was really peaceful and I enjoyed it!

Great trail for families to take over and over since there are spin offs everywhere you look. I also love all of the little touches the neighborhood put into this place. My route includes a stop at the snow cone stand for summer treats!

A nice hike. Some muddy spots because of all the rain lately, but an all round nice time.

Nice little trail. Poison ivy everywhere along the paved walkway so be careful of that.

From the waterfront viewing spot just off the parking lot we watched several Mississippi Kites and a (peregrine?) falcon circling overhead. Along the trail we saw many swallows. 1.2 mile to loop along the river. Have to share the paved trail with frequent bike traffic (and vice versa) so keep an eye out and try to be courteous. The trail is plenty wide to share. There is no shade and few benches but a pleasant walk otherwise. Try to pick a cooler day to enjoy this one. You can continue much further if you are so inclined. Good fishing spots too.

Didn’t seem so easy, lots of rock and trees in the way.

Fun trail. We took our 5 and 8 year olds and they managed it fine. Creek is little low and dried out right now but still a fun time. Not many people so it was nice and quiet.

Fantastic trail. We started in a neighborhood and within a few minutes we had been transferred into the woods. We could only hear the creek, the birds, chipmunks... A well maintained path. There was one tree that had recently fallen across the path. Even though it had rained hard last night, we really didn’t have any issues with the creek crossings, or the path. Our shoes did not get wet. I read a review that suggested running the trail, I would definitely hike it first.

Very great trail! We will definitely be back. Lots of nature and some off path places to explore. No downfalls to this trail, very pretty. Also dog and kid friendly!

Great trail. Very quiet. Still open even Tho pinnacle mountain is closed due to Covid. Sounds of nature early in the morning. Take the spurs and do them multiple times for extra mileage. Also a good place to sit and read halfway through.

I love this trail. You get a little bit of everything, mountain views, river views, open meadows, trees, wildlife. Mostly paved trails makes for easy walking.

I enjoy walking this trail weekly. Pretty views of Swan Lake with lots of different blooming flowers, bushes, and trees throughout the year. A lot of the trail is paved. There used to be a swan that could get aggressive, but he has since passed. There is catch and release fishing around the lake, dogs can be on leashes as long as you clean up after them, There’s also a nice pavilion, benches, and art on and around the trail.

We really liked this trail. Be aware it was VERY muddy all along the river, I recommend wearing boots. But we made the best of it and has great views of the river.

Had a hard time finding where to start and it said we were off the trail almost the whole time, but it was beautiful! We really liked it! Will definitely go back.

Really beautiful tree cover for most of the trail.. The creek is lovely when it's been rainy, but parts of it dry up quickly. Trail is pebbly, but still pretty accessible for older folks / manual wheelchairs.

Great trail for walkers, joggers, and bicycles. I went in the very early morning and only saw 2 other walkers, but it gets crowded during the day. It’s a pretty trail, including views of the river, woods, and occasional deer.

We didn’t get very far before it turned into a swamp land of stagnant water. We tried to balance on some fallen logs and that was fun, but there was no dry land up around the curve. We will go back inAugust or something when it will be more dry. Well marked. We did the other trails nearby and saw beautiful views.
