Great trail, very pretty. There is an incline but nothing to crazy.

This is not an easy one to get to the bottom of, follow the advice of other hikers, park at the fire wood box, cross the highway, you’ll get to the falls soon enough. The hike to the bottom of the falls was slick and wet! It was glorious (won’t be tomorrow though, I’ll certainly feel it!) absolutely worth it!!! Loved everything about this hike

Totally agree Jennie, lush as heck! Great trail. I think the plane crash plaque has been stolen but totally worth looking for. Not really. If your confused by signs, just keep walking. You’ll find something eventually. Definitely hit the north view, it’s a beauty!

Beautiful short hike!! It was very muddy and slick but well worth it. Beyond the first water fall are several more. If you continue down the trail after the cutoff to the first waterfall, take a right after two big tree stumps and make your way down the slope to find several more stair step waterfalls. It is really breathtaking especially this time of year!

Awesome falls, even better caves!

Great hike!! Parking is open but bathrooms are closed due to COVID-19. Everything was very green and blooming. That did make the trail narrow from plants growing up, but it was a beautiful hike! Definitely recommend the north view of the top of the mountain. It was a bit longer to get to from the loop trail than we expected, but well worth the view!!

Nice trail first few switch backs are a little rough but once up to base of rock bluff pretty easy going. A few places soft and muddy due to recent rains and still some drainage. Did not go to very top but just around base due to rocky and slick conditions. Trees not totally leafed out yet so had great views. Privy at parking lot had signage that it was closed due to Corona but doors unlocked. No paper products or lights inside. User supplied only. Been in better, been in worse. Good view of Jasper below. Next time will try for the top for better views. Surprised that crash site still had some debris from so long ago.

*Stop by and read a about the trail and history as well get a brochure. *If you have a breathable mask that wraps around your neck, like a neck gaiter, you may want to wear it to help prevent inhaling bugs. *There is a female Black Vulture sitting on her eggs under the large leaning boulder on the SE side of the trail past the top trail path. The start of the climb is the most challenging and isn't bad thanks to a couple switchbacks. We went left(south) once we reached the first T. We then stopped and had lunch in one of the over hanging bluffs while a rain shower passed. Make sure you go to the top section of the trail then wrap around the West trail. Amazing views and worth every step. I used rocks and sticks to make an arrow pointing to a bluff on the West section that you need to walk down to! I found myself saying "You feel at times the world is too small and then you step into a view like this." I highly suggest this trail. (if you want a keepsake, the gas station by the river has stickers, shirts, etc.)

It’s up up up then down down down! Pretty and sweeping views from the flat level top trails. Great rocks and boulders. Good trail. Be sure to get a printed trail map at the building, we didn’t see them till done hiking. I’d imagine trail is overgrown and less views in summer? We weren’t sure which trail to take. Loads of choices. Too many. Confusing markings at trail intersections. Never found the plane parts so kids were disappointed. On way back, near dusk, our kids got ahead of us and we were frantic they missed the confusing turn off back to the parking, thought they might be stuck on the long loop trail in error. Whew. Close call.

Great trail and beautiful waterfall!! There’s no sign for the trail so park across the road by the firewood box. Then go down the dirt road until you see the parks management sign right before the creek. There’s a trail across the creek, don’t go down it, it leads to private land. Take the trail to the left, following the creek downstream. Right when you pass the waterfall on your right there’s a sharp switchback that will take you down to the waterfall. It’s a pretty easy trail and very beautiful!
