Wonderful walk. This trail also has two hammock hangouts located near the tennis court area. The park makes for a perfect outing.

Perfect fall walk, first 4.4 miles is asphalt and last 2.1 is dirt. All very nice. Minus a short backtrack we made, seems like the path is closer to 7 miles.

easy trail for walking but little to no shade. best suited for biking.

Watch out for goose poop! Also, after heavy rains there are low spots with standing water (long sections where you will have to go around in the also-wet grass) as well as mud and small rock debris that washes down from the higher elevations onto the paved surface, so mind your footing.

nice trails, just be careful where you park. when I got back to my car someone had broke in to my car and another car next to me

I run & ride this trail all the time. Beautiful area & now with the paved trail all the way to Ft Smith park along the river. Great bike ride. The downtown trail is also to see the history of Ft Smith.

I run Ben Geren as much as I can. Usually I’m the only (runner) on the trails. Every once in awhile I run across bike riders & never a problem. So many different trails to choose from paved or dirt. I would recommend these trails to everyone.

We did this hike yesterday and I honestly thought it was going to be more dirt trail as shown in pic. I should of read the reviews more carefully lol.. if you are walking/running all it is pretty much paved and the dirt trail that you see above is for the bikes. I would like to come back out and run it however the next time bring running shoes not hiking lol.

Good trail, grounds kept up, in a seedy part of town, but middle of the day and I had no issues. Fun disc course, tennis, basketball, and playground available.

This is a city park, no hiking here, it is a nice sidewalk, lots of trees for the city, water fountains available. Not too crowded on the sidewalk today. It’s a good place to walk in town.

A nice easy trail to take the kids especially during Xmas time.

favorite place to home in tails

I enjoy waking these trails as well as biking the mountain bike trails. They are pretty well maintained and have an interesting geography to keep your mind occupied.

Nice trail and park near my daughter’s house so I like to bring my grandkids here.

I live near here and love to walk around the lake. Only bad part is dodging goose poop.

Very nice trail. The best trail is called Enduro Flow. You can get a lot of speed and get some good air when you ramp.

It is a short trail. At the beginning of the trail there is a phone number to enter if you want to hear an audio tour of the history that occurred here.

This was a nice walk. I saw a lot of geese and had to dodge geese bombs on the sidewalk lol.

This was a trail that circles Creekmore park. It is a cute little park with a lot of friendly squirrels running around.

easy paved walk

The path is sandy with little pebbles. There are some old pretty trees on this trail.

part of loop closed for construction. that was disappointing:(

This trail has cool things next to it like the gallows, a garden, and a view of the Arkansas river.

Really lovely jog. Took my pup here for a run in the AM and evening. There is a great water fountain for pups to keep them hydrated. The path is wide, clean, and not overly crowded with very pretty views.

This is in the Fort Smith National Historical Site, but you don't have to pay to walk the trail. It's pretty easy, with only slight inclines. It's also completely paved, so it's accessible. There's information boards about the area & the river flows right alongside it. I recommend.
