pretty sweet, cool mixture of scenery, definitely needs more blazing but its usually got it when you need it and doesn't have any when you don't.
recent rain has put lots of debris on the trail, cows have torn up a good bit of trail and made it stinky
my GPS came out at 4.1miles not 4.9

but overall ill probably be doing it again

Nice little loop but close to the road. Might be fun for mountain biking. We hiked it. No real features like water or anything. But pretty trees.

Worst trail in NWA. Poorly marked and overgrown. Very disappointed after a promising sign and pavilion. If you hike with snake boots, carry a machete, and enjoy walking hunched over due to branches while taking countless spiderwebs to the face, you might will enjoy this. If your used to clearly marked trails that are more than a foot wide stay away. Very rocky and shady with lots of chiggers and mosquitos. Lots of potential but very poorly maintained. **We turned back after 45 minutes due to getting lost and the trails being to overgrown for our dog.

Great easy/moderate hike in Fayetteville. The trailhead was super easy to find. It’s by a residential area. The trail itself was confusing, like others have said. The GPS helped tremendously and we actually had fun trying to find our way. Without the GPS though it would have been frustrating. It’s a beautiful trail and even though it was almost 90 degrees when we went, the tree cover definitely helped. I recommend it!

This is a very easy walk on a paved pathway. if you start at what the guide says is the trail head, you have a very nice and quick lollipop trail to follow. However you are parking on the side of a busy street. If you go to the west side of the park there is plenty of parking in a marked parking lot, which might be a better place to leave your car.

The trail itself is suitable for everyone and is along a paved pathway. There are a few spots where the trees have created un uneven surface in the pavement that may make it difficult for a very short section to someone in a wheel chair.

The path following the creak was very nice and you could hear lots of different birds. If made you think your sound machine for white noise was stuck on the birds setting. For the time I had on this trip to Fayetteville, this trail got me outside and I learned about a park I had not visited before.

It was really beautiful but seriously difficult to follow the trails out here.

pretty chill, not much elevation gain/loss. second quarter is kinda unkempt, the rest is great. ok views of the lake. the ticks are in full swing

If you want to run a rustic trail this is it. decently marked with red markers. Overall good trail

Poorly marked trail. Without this App I would have been lost. But, with AllTrails I backtracked and found my way. Going clockwise the uphill trek was rocky and strenuous but once we leveled out it was easy to moderate. Nice hike!

Quick simple trail. Fayetteville’s little gem. They’ve been constructing a mountain bike trail through but doesn’t mess up the flow of the original trail. Great daily run.

I liked the trail. It's in need of some TLC but still enjoyable.

Trail can be confusing at times and opens into a couple fields that you have to figure your way through. Also ran into some cows, which was interesting although our dog was not fond of them haha. It was a pretty easy trail tho, just wish we were able to get closer to the water.

I would like to do this hike but don’t see any place to park a vehicle and the road is a small 2 lane with no shoulders.

Good dog walk. Beautiful park. Pavement all around, make it easy walking or running. Not so exciting doh.
Has picnic areas and a jungle gym.
Would recommend it!!

Love this walk for its convenience, beautiful plants, and friendly folks (and dogs)!

Nice trail that is paved. Has everything a regular park has and a beautiful creek along with it!

It's not a peaceful trail because the traffic is so near you but it is a simple trail.

Not maintained at all!! I didn't feel comfortable doing it with two kids. We did 5 minutes and then turned around.

It's a very nice paved trail but if you do not know where you are going then you will get lost because there are other trail heads.

This trail starts out great with nice views of the water. Once you get to the cow pasture just go back as there are limited markers, the ones there are confusing, most of it is mud and cow mess, etc. This trail had a lot of potential but was just all over the place. My dog loved the cows!

Not sure I would call this a trail. Once I finally found the trailhead, we gave it about a 1/4 of a mile in and it was so overgrown that we turned around and went to the other trail...see that review on that trail!

The "trailhead" is kinda in a weird spot, for whatever that's worth. The trail just sorta starts next to a road. No place to park and nowhere to walk up to it that isn't on a road. So, don't think that you need to start there. It's real silly. Especially since they put that new parking lot in on Gregg by the Joyce intersection. That thing is as dope as a parking lot can be.

Alright, the trail itself. For being a paved trail running through (and under) a city, it's actually pretty pleasant. The convenience of location, lots of trees everywhere , birds, and other critters running around make up for any of the slight annoyances encountered due to being in a city. Like noise pollution... or mysterious super hardcore fences topped with barbed wire that you'd think someone would care about since they went to all the trouble of putting it up but maybe they really don't care because it was knocked down and no one fixed it.

The trail dumps out at Veteran's Park (Lake Fayetteville) and gives you access to the NWA Mall. So, that's nice I guess.

All in all, it's a part of the Razorback Greenway which is a nice thing to have and it's a nice part of it at that. But it's not like it's a real nature trail. It's a very small road for people and bikes.

This is a really nice little trail. It's short, but could be combined with the others near the lake for a good session of hiking.

It starts out next to the road and runs right next to it for longer than I'd have liked, but then it goes a bit deeper into the trees and is really pleasant. The little loop at the end is basically in back yards. A gorgeous (and friendly) Great Pyrenees came out to say "hello" - my dog loves everyone, but do be aware of the proximity to houses and resident pets if your furry buddy is picky about meeting new friends.

Fun and easy trail

Nice trail for my morning hike. The first half to the end was near the road and I was a little disappointed, but the second half (after the clearing with the picnic table) I really liked! There was a more remote feel to it and even a little bridge to cross.

I had absolutely no trouble finding my way on this trail. There are frequent blazes (some old, some newer and bluer), and where there aren't blazes, there's blue tape tied to or hanging from the trees. Some helpful soul has also tied strips of cloth to the trees in the trickier parts. The path through the pasture is clear, it looks like someone comes in with a lawn mower and keeps it visible. Easy peasy.

This is a lovely flat and easy trail which follows the lake edge. The rock wall is amazing - it goes on and on and on. The process of building it, particularly in the middle of the woods, must have been back-breaking. You can follow it for pretty much as long as you want, and turn around any time.

We did not see any signs of the old rookery, and we wandered in the woods quite a ways. The blazes and tape keep going, though we lost them eventually and turned back.

What might deter you from this trail are the cows. Part of this is clearly their regular stomping ground, and the deep mud and cow piles (also deep!) are there to prove it. Don't go after it's been raining (my mistake) if you'd like to stay tidy. The actual cows were curious about us, but not aggressive. They'd moved on entirely when we came back through the pasture.
