We hiked this trail on May 28th. It has inclines that will get the heart beating and the legs feeling used. It is a little soppy in spots but not that bad. Great trail!

Trail is very overgrown in places making it difficult to know which way to go. Also, we were COVERED in ticks by the time we did the whole loop. I would not recommend this trail.

Nice shaded trail with some nice rock formations throughout. Several trails in one without clear markers to differentiate but we figured it out well enough. Several kids along who did well.

Great couple views of the lake (especially after crossing the road the first time), and really nice forest environment on the first half of it or so with nice lake breezes. Trail is nearly impossible to find on the last half of the loop (soon after crossing the road again) but it’s not too hard to get back to trailhead with GPS. Lots of ticks when you inevitably go off-trail on the second half. Consider doubling back half-way instead of completing the loop.

A nice trail, but unkept right now. It is very steep in spots and will not be passable for casual walkers and smaller children. Quite a few spots where we had to stop and visually search for markers while referring to GPS and map. Both crossings of AR187 have road signs, but the trail is hard to see on both sides of the road. We went counter-clockwise (starting up the stairs from the overlook) and the first half was pretty easy to follow, but after crossing back to the NE side of AR187 it was apparent there had been very little traffic. We almost stepped on a very sizable rattlesnake as we were climbing the service road back to the parking area that was overgrown with grass (chest high). Has great potential, but needs some attention.

It's a pretty trail, but the "overlook" is pretty much only a winter description. There is no view once the trees leaf out. Still worth an hour of your time though.

Super short and easy trail. You can climb a rock about 3/4 the way down the trail and sit above the lake. You could probably jump off the rock into the lake if you wanted to swim.

Really scenic, not very stroller friendly.

There is no parking during this time. The lots are all blocked off and we couldn’t find anywhere along the road either.

Awesome hike. Perfect distance and elevation changes for a moderate workout. Mountain bikers on the trail made for a little annoyance but separate trail for hiking kept our paths different. I would definitely repeat just to see the Rock again.

The trail is not well maintained but a great quiet walk through the forest. Had the trail all to myself today. The peace brought turkey, deer and fox.

Great trail. Really steep & rocky, but worth it for the views. The second part of the trail, across hwy 187 goes along some beautiful bluff over looks.

Moderately easy with beautiful winter views, plants, and rock formations. Didn’t see anyone on a nice January Saturday.

Fun hike! Steep rocky trail, hard to see the trail under the leaves but well marked. Takes you to a nice overlook and skirting the bottom of beautiful rock wall.

very short trail near the White River. the Golden gate bridge of Arkansas is neat though!

This is a great trail with interesting rock formations at the beginning and the end. It intersects with some downhill mountain bike trails, so sometimes it is not clear which path to take. The AllTrails map was accurate for the 1st half of the hike, going counterclockwise, but we were way off trail for the 2nd half - just follow the signs on the trail to stay on the Multi-use Minors Rock trail and avoid the bikes. I logged about 4 miles on this hike - 1.9 miles is just the first half - FYI.

There wasn’t any feature or spectacular view to make this trail pay off for me. The quarry was kind of cool, but not my jam.

A little more difficult than expected. Beautiful trail. Not well marked the last half mile but doable. Excellent

The first part of the trail had great views and was easy to follow. Once you cross the highway, the trail disappears and you need to use your phone or a GPS to find your way.

Husband and I did this trail. Once you cross the highway for the second part of the trail, it becomes so overgrown that the trail disappears. We were only able to get back because of gps on our phone. We each got about 200 seed ticks on us (not an exaggeration). We are both still recovering from all the bites making the trail not worth it at all. If you're in this area I highly suggest finding a better trail.
