The National Forest Service now requires a $3 per machine (or bike or horse) per day fee, for the marked trails only. That is the west side of Hwy 7 across from Mack's Pines. The permit is not required for the unmarked trails, which is the east side of Hwy 7, the same side as Mack's Pines. The permits can be purchased at the Moccasin Gap Trailhead fee box. If visitors are just riding for the day, the park charges a parking fee as follows: $5 per vehicle or a vehicle with a trailer under 18ft, $10 for a trailer 18-25ft, and $15 for a trailer over 25ft. You must also purchase the Forest Service permits if you are riding on the marked trails. For more information visit: https://www.macks-pines.com/ Show more
