I live in the Sabino Canyon area and hike this area for years. Seven Falls can be hiked by just about anyone but the time of the year is right after the winter snow when the falls are most dramatic. Also this is when the temperatures are perfect. Start early before it hot at noon and bringing water and a snack is a must. I see to many people attempt this hike without any water which is foolish and thats when i watch the rescue helicopters go into the canyon. Please be prepared and enjoy this incredible hike. The best time is February.

Was nice hike through the low clouds .

Great trail. Did it in the rain today and it was beautiful with the low clouds.

An easy-to-access trail that is easy to moderate in parts. Some loose rocks as would be typical in this area. However, no huge steps up or leaps down requiring those of us with shorter legs to have to use all fours.

Nice, short hike. Completed the loop in about an hour at a brisk pace. Would have liked to go all the way to the top of the peak, but the trail didn’t go there.

Breathtaking views but kind of a drag that to get to the trail you have to walk a mile through an easement with barbed wire fence on either side. Large rocks/boulders cover a large part of the trail and the trail is not well marked. It’s a great workout because of elevation gain. I experienced a spiritual tranquility being surrounded by
what really can only be described as the majesty of nature.

Nice hike. Just a drip at the falls during this dry season. Took Carrillo trail coming back making it 7.25.

A fairly easy trail not a big elevation change and the trail is well maintained. You walk inside the canyon most of the way with some switch-backs right near the end. Great views and would be stunning when water is flowing.
You do have to pay a $5 entry fee for the day use of the Sabino Canyon and there is a long pointless walk from the park entry to the canyon entry.

nice hike...went early in day and most of hike in was in shade.

I did this yesterday. I would say that it is only rated moderate due to the length of the trail. As for the actually difficulty of the hiking, it is an easy trail. February was the perfect time to go with weather in the 70’s. Beautiful views.

A fun moderate hike. Take the $10 tram ride into Sabino Canyon and then hike out Phoneline trail. There are great city and canyon views. There are some slippery rocks and during certain times of the year there are water crossings. A great trail!

Great winter hike. Steady elevation gain. Pano views of major peaks. Enjoy the dome rock scenic overlook at mile 2.6.

great day hike to Juniper basin, gorgeous views! highly recommend! leave about 8 hours if you plan for stop and lunch. perfect winter or early spring.

Enjoyed this desert hike in the different cactus. Elevation was not taxing. The trail was fine, but you needed to watch your step. Beautiful 360 view from the peak.

Today we tried to get to the window but after 3.93 miles up we decided it was time to turn around. Boy, we were all too tired and the heat certainly didn't help either.

This is a beautiful, mostly very easy trail with one steep hill to get down. It is also very crowded with people and dogs and horses, which can be fun or stressful or fun depending on how everyone gets along.

Should be rated easy.

Overall a good hike just be careful at the end on the large smooth rocks once you arrive at seven falls. Slipped on a large boulder and fell on my butt. Done it twice already and loved it the 2nd time. Stay on the trail, it’s much better than getting on the dirt or gravel roads. Start early it gets busy later in the mid day.
