Took me 2 hr and 15 minutes in total to finish the loop.

Love it! Will come back and climb the rock!

Ha ha, started this trail with my family. Scared the living daylights out of my two young girls . Made it about 5% in and they demanded we go somewhere else. Super fun from what I got to see. 2008 FJ Cruiser with 3 inch lift and off road tires.

I happened upon this trail after deciding my first choice was too far from my hotel in Flagstaff and am very happy with my decision. I drove the entire trail with an otherwise stock 1997 Cherokee XJ with 31” all terrain tires and 2” of lift with no problems at all. Four wheel drive is an absolute must on this trail and low range is recommended. We drove the trail in about three hours but did take our time driving and looking at the beautiful views about a mile and a half down the trail. I suppose you could drive the trail in under two if you really wanted to. I’m fairly confident that any modern wrangler JK or JL would be able to get through this trail. I did once hit my receiver hitch pretty hard coming down one obstacle but sustained no damage at all. I would definitely drive this trail again and recommend it to a friend. About 25 miles/45 minutes south of Flagstaff.

Very scenic and fun. There are pink Jeeps all over which is a bit annoying but you can follow them around to see the good spots. There are a few steep hills that test your brakes and a few large rocks that take a bump to get over. All in all lots of fun trail.

I’m sure this is a great trail but the only way to get to the GPS coordinates is by trespassing. Wasted my wife’s morning getting here and now I feel awful - thanks.

Great scenery! Enjoyed the trail around Bell Rock and walking through trees, up pathways and seeing all sides of the rock formation. Highly recommend paying attention to the trail markers to ensure you follow the loop and don’t end up on the wrong side of the fence. Definitely worth the stroll!

It was amazing, you shouldn’t do it without a off-road vehicle nothing less then a Jeep Wrangler rubicon

Fairly flat and well marked to Submarine Rock. Make sure you scramble up to the top for some of the best views of the east side of Sedona. Sadly, we couldn’t find Devil’s Living Room - the sink hole - not sure how we missed it.

Great trail! You can get off the trail about half way and go and check out the birthing cave. Follow the river back if you can’t find the trail.

Amazing early morning hike. Quiet and cool. The colors as the sun was rising against the hills was stunning.

Mescal Mountain is awesome.. Long Canyon was not as fun. It is similar to Secret Canyon where you are getting back into dense/thick forest. The AllTrails app doesn’t work as well back there. I would hike 1/2 mi or so and the app didn’t record me moving hardly at all. So, it was hard to tell when the trail was going to end (same experience in Secret Canyon). I also had a steady stream of bugs zooming in circles around my head on almost the entire time on Long Canyon trail .. kind of takes away from the fun. Mescal Mountain is something you don’t want to miss tho.

Great trail. There is an upper and lower chimney rock trail. We did the lower trail and it was an easy trail.

Loved this trail. Took us about 2.5 hours. Quiet, serene, and relatively flat. Highly recommend for all ages!

The trail is well-marked and gorgeous, but do NOT try to scale and summit Bell Rock. The trail leading to the south side is washed out, and leaves maybe 1-2 ft from the edge of the cliff circling back around to the north on the right side of the rock. Stay on the north side.

It was an amazing off road experience. My girlfriend and I really had a blast on this trail. It has amazing scenery points. There were parts that were somewhat challenging, but nothing a Rubicon can’t handle. I definitely recommend it

Trail is actually closer to 4.25m, great hike though, some uphill climbing but not too difficult. I wouldn’t necessarily take kids though, pre-teen and above...

My first long hike in Arizona. Challenging, but not overwhelming for this 65 year old outdoor lover. Got very close to some deer and a large Bull snake. Great views!

We did this a "break-in" hike in our visit to Sedona. This was a beautiful walk and trails marked very clearly. We did the adjoining tail around the hill next to Chimney too, and took its trail to the summit. Awesome, a little windy but the view across Verde Canyon and Sedona was breath taking. My wife said the colors were vibrant around both hills (very different greens and bright yellows -- she is so much more sensitive to color than I -- I saw a lot of greens and browns... still beautiful to me). Would do this again. Maybe bridge this to Vulte Arch next time.

Wow! Great hike. Started off uphill for a little bit but then its flat and down hill the rest of the way. Didnt take as much time as expected to get all the way in. Found a perfect spot by the creek...we sat down, played in the water. Overall a great time. Only reason I wouldnt give it 5 stars is because it was alot busier than I wouldve liked. But I will definitely be visiting again

Great trail, did it 3xs while out in Sedona for extended weekend. We were in our 97 TJ with 4” lift and 35s. Some nice brief challenges, but scenery was awesome. Each trip was different part of the day (morning, afternoon, evening) as the shadow lines and scenery looks different - as well as the trail lines along the rocks look different as well. Got some great photos. Most of the Pink Jeep Tour guides were cool, we usually gave the right of way to stay in good spirits, they were always good to let us know how many behind them as well. Will do again when we go back.

Loved this quick river hike! Brought the snoot pup with us and went for a little dip. Would be the perfect place for a picnic.

Also word had it that rattlesnakes were out and about (04/28) on the Cathedral Rock side so keep your eyes peeled if you are taking your pup with you!

This is one of my favorite trails here in Sedona. I started at The Baldwin Trailhead and continued till I saw the Templeton cutoff to the left. From here it is a short hike to the river. The river is so beautiful! Some flat parts and then rocky going down to river. Continue going up and up the hill with a beautiful view at the top!

Great views and flat.

We did this trail to Dead Man’s pass then finished the loop on Mescal. Mescal was our favorite part— lovely views along a great ridge!

Best trail I've driven with my wrangler, beautiful views, challenging obstacles, courteous people. I recommend!

Loved! Very scenic, a little crowded in am. Parking is pretty good if you get there early.

Did counterclockwise as others suggested. At only 1.8 miles, it is easy to add on more distance with other nearby trails including the lower chimney summit. Summit definitely worth it but a bit slippery coming back down. (May want to do clockwise if you want to put summit in your plans). Stayed very close to this trailhead and did this hike several times during our stay as a casual afternoon hike. Never got as busy as other trails.
