great hike

Very challenging hike, but enjoyable

Actually a 9.1 mile.

Beautiful and challenging hike

Did the hike counter-clockwise, started at 1000 with about 40• F outer temp. Beautiful hike; the last 1/4 was perfectly timed for early afternoon.

Went off the trail somewhere in the first half mile; this app got me back quickly and easily. When I do this hike again I’ll post where the missing marker is (or just fix it lol).

Easy, pretty trail! Sandy path most of the way, with few narrow spots. We didn't see any wildlife, but saw plenty of tracks!

A favorite spot of mine, very beautiful and lots of wildlife

Great hike, great views not to congested. Dawgs encouraged!

Sweet trail. Good scrambles and lots of hoping around lol. Ran some, climbed some and walked most. A good wholesome trail!

I was only here for ~30 minutes since i’m only spending the night in Prescott and then heading up north the next day. it’s very beautiful, if i lived nearby, i’d come back a lot. saw a few people kayaking- that’s cool lol. and we paid $3 (saturday) the people behind us didn’t pay at all...

I love this trail. Great birding and it’s easy to follow with enough friendly foot traffic and cell service so I don’t mind doing it alone.

Good loop trail that's easy to follow. Go clockwise for awesome vistas on the way down.

A good, easy trail that can be done in an hour with pretty views.

Awesome hike! I didn't know this gem was out there! Beautiful views, good coverage, and plenty people on a Saturday!

Awesome trail with great tree coverage. Not for the faint of heart. I did an out and back to steep left side. It was a great hike.

fun hike with my son :-)

This was a great hike!! We went counter clockwise and found the trail could use a little more marking in the first mile. Thanks to All Trails, we got on the right trail. Saw 4 deer, who weren't the least bit afraid of us.

definitely go clock wise around the trail. it was gorgeous. it took us 2 hours, the trail is really well marked with white dots. plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery. loved every minute!

There is no loop around the lake, like the app is showing. At some point, get ready to cross over the spill way and at another point, you have to cross the creek. Wear water proof shoes. But the views are amazingly breathtaking.

Nice day hike with great views.

Good hike but it is actually 322 not 332 that you connect with. The dirt road getting to Forest Road 51 is not the best. Also when leaving you can go the other direction and meet up Copper Basin. Beautiful scenery along the two miles dirt road. The roads are best with a 4x4

Great variety of terrain. Go clockwise to get the workout done first. Last mile or so was flat. Map my walk clocked the route as a little over 5 miles.

Really enjoyed this trail. Hiked with our 2 and 4 year olds but there were areas where they needed to be carried down the rocks, or helped. Beginning was a bit boring, the middle is beautiful.
We didn’t bring enough water or sunscreen, bring LOTS of water if hiking this during the warmer months.

We took our boxer and it was a lot more than light traffic. Ran into 5 dogs on the trail and some were off leash. Some pretty scenery though and an easy trail to walk. It was hard on our 12yr old boxer with rocks on the road but we managed to stay on the side of the trail with less rocks.

Super beautiful trail, sometimes a little steep, nice views.

very nice hike early in the Morning, great for beginners as the trail is easily traversed for majority of it. there was only a spot or two that was challenging due to having to scale some rocks. that is on the south east side of the lake. rest of the trail is great!
bring a trash bag and help keep the trail clean.

nice lake and trails but not for beginner bike riders. kid friendly for the walking trails. this actual trail is for hikers only.
