Did this peak as part of the Dixie loop with 2 summits. Great hike!

Did this as part of the Dixie Loop with two summits. Good Trail!

A good challenging hike in the summertime. Last time I was here, I only did the loop and Dixie Summit.
This time I did both summits and the loop. Started getting a little hot and worn out towards the end of the hike, but it was worth it. A lot of good up and down on this one and pretty scenery. Just watch out for all of the Cholla cactus!

This trail is misnamed - if you look at it, it actually doesn't go along the Pima Wash trail at all. It starts where it could, but then it goes on National Trail and Ridgeline Trail (or vice versa, if you go counterclockwise). It was a perfectly fine path to hike but most of National is more like walking on a dirt road.

As a beginner this trail was a challenge for me but doable! There are great views and room to rest on your way up. The elevation was a good challenge for me

Great hike...the climb is not easy but it’s worth it...I stopped once for a snake :) and twice to catch my breath!!! Beautiful 360 degree view at the top!!!

Great trail to learn the other trails and mountains in the Preserve.

Awesome Sunrise Hike Today❣️Amazing Incline Workout-Hard Hike to Summit but so rewarding with great views of Camel Back, Squaw Peak, etc.....bathrooms on site and plenty of parking, no charge!

Great workout. I prefer this to Camelback. The difference may be the 300' vertical elevation difference :-)

I like the views and people sharing the trail seem to be pretty friendly. Great fun for an after work hike.

Great Trail for dogs. Always enjoyed crowd and views

Great Run. Great views. Also there are hawks all around.

My brother and I lived on this mountain when we were 12 and 13. We would run the hills for training and also hike the mountain Sunday morning to go to PFA. They have water fountains there. Also they have a very nice prayer room.

Kicked my Butt! Javalina Out and looped back in Boulder Trail :). Definitely a moderate hike from 9 am-11:00am....No washrooms, marked well! Great Incline and Workout

Such an incredible workout, I alternate from ridge line Nd Beverly canyon to Pima wash to javelina, always exciting!

Great trail with amazing views of Scottsdale. Bit of a scramble at the end

Fun hike...did this last year at Xmas time around sunset. Had to rush down before it got crazy dark. It was challenging but not overly difficult. Worth the views!!

Love this hike...vertical hike to summit is challenging while loop is serene and there are times you forget you are in the city.

Nice trail. Go all the way up first and then head east, and come around..

Hard hike. Elevation changes.

Amazing trail run cardio back in business

Did a training run with my base pack. 2 hour round trip, started around 12:39PM. Trail was clean and shaded in areas. Bring water!!!!

beautiful rock formations. easy to navigate, but is a very short trail.

wouldn't necessarily say this is for beginners as there are some tricky and steep parts, it is also easy (well, easy for me lol) to get lost, but it was really fun and if you get there early enough, you don't run into too many hikers or runners. would do it again until I gain the technical ability that I lost after not riding for a couple of years. plenty of shade when you go early.

This has recently become my favorite trail. It’s beautiful and provides just enough challenge and incline. It provides multiple places to turn around if you are unable to complete the trail. It’s a family friendly trail and the views are incredible

We have gone up this trail two weeks in a row and have really enjoyed the loop. The steep hills are probably the “hardest” part of the trail but not crazy.

Very tough but good feeling afterwards!

Great hike, easy but felt like a good workout for me as a beginner

Great Saturday morning hike. Definitely heavily trafficked at some parts, but there were times when I was alone also. The towers are sort of a blemish, but the view from the top was gorgeous! The first .5 mile is flat, then 2 mile climb, 2 mile descent and .5 flat again. Great loop!
