Great trail, no traffic, 110 in valley & 88 at top!
Great views!

Hiked first mile a couple days ago. 4 x 4 is required to reach trail from I8.
Was just out exploring when I came up on the trailhead. Within the first hundred yards I spooked up a large deer. Saw lots of sign of deer, snake and badger.
Can't wait for a sub-110 day to head back out

we did this Trail and then look back through Apache Trail to Roosevelt what a good day

Nice easy hike. Very fine sand makes it a little challenging on the way out, but overall fairly easy and beautiful.

I wheeled it in my 2007 Tacoma prerunner with K02 tires and aired down to 19 psi. We had no problems climbing all the hill.
There are 3 gates that nobody mentions but just make sure to close them. The trail over all was a lot of fun.

had a good time. we even got lost doing the loop that what it all about.

Very nice hike, if we could get an earlier start it would've been better, gate opens at 800 am. Saw some mule deer while we were waiting. it would be amazing to hike this during rainy season, many dry creeks, very pretty views.

Beautiful! The trail is easy and the summit is moderate. Can't beat the beauty from 360 degrees once you get to the top!

View from the top is great, but the trail is kinda lame. Its just a gravel road. On the way up a forest service truck passed me. Took me a little less than 2 hours to get to the top.

I'd try another spot.
