This was a really fun trial. Fairly quiet, long course, needed 4WD a lot of the time in my modified Wrangler, had to use 4low a couple times. Beautiful views. Will definitely be back.

Great trail! Beautiful scenery, does have a lot of elevation within a short distance but worth it! Views are amazing at sunset.

Vehicle was Ford Raptor SuperCrew.
Some switchbacks took a bit of negotiating. Due to brush alongside trail there was some scratching but light.

Enjoyed the wonderful view. But also very steep so be aware!!

Parking is SO limited. No pass needed. Seven pools is actually at the beginning of the trail but are very low & are actually gross. One pool had pretty & clear water. The end of the trail very hard to find & stay on. You’re better off just followings Brims Mesa trail then going to the end of this trail.

This is my favorite hike in Sedona. If you do not have a Jeep and drive a low clearance vehicle, park at the overflow parking lot on Vultee Arch Road. From there I highly recommend using the Chuckwagon foot trail, which runs parallel to the west of the dusty boulderfield known as the Jeep Road. If you go on a weekday, you will have it pretty much to yourself. It is 100 times more beautiful than the Jeep Road, and it is not that much longer in length. As it crosses the Jeep Road, it becomes the Devil's Bridge Trail which is super crowded. I can't even imagine doing this trail on a weekend. At the time of this writing (December 5), the sun sets behind the mountain by noon, so if you do not get there early, your pictures at the bridge will be in total shade. It is also 10 degrees cooler up there in the shade so be sure to layer your clothing.
