I enjoyed the most peaceful and serene moment of my week hiking the Dysart trail starting at Coldwater and returning through Butterfield.
It's moderate on the easy side, there were very few people, mostly bikers.
Being the end of April with the desert in bloom, there were quite a few bees buzzing around the mesquite trees but I wasn't bothered.

Walked it today, but stretched it to a 3.5 mile hike. Ages ranged 10 to 71, some were novices, but it was good. this is the 6th or 6th time for me.

Nice trail. Pretty easy. I would say 5 miles though.

Good trail! I’d say easy to moderate though. Had some steep inclines and a few washes- great for beginners.

Be on the lookout for horse droppings! Nice trail wide and smooth enough in most portions to run if you’d like.

A moderate hike, not too many hills but my GPS showed us hiking 4.9 miles, not 3.9.

Beautiful hike with moderate incline and well set path. Pay close attention to the signs to stay on the right trail!

Great views and beautiful weather

Excellent hike

Very long trail hike. Be prepared. Not too difficult. accidentally did this long hike we meant to cut up dysart trail. It was nice we started around 8. It is still a little hot in DECEMBER

Pretty boring but good for passing time or talking to friends. Lots of fun critters to spot, just not my usual type of hike.

nice easy hike. moderate inclines/declines. highest elevation was about 1180ft above sea level so not to crazy. good views of Goodyear and the Estrella Mountains. nothing over exciting with the views but still good landscapes. be aware this 'loop' uses 3 different trails to complete the loop. start on rainbow then take a left on Dysart trail and another left once you get to toothoker trail to head back.

Great trail to view the wildflowers in the Spring. In early Mach the hills are blanked in yellow and white flowers, in late March the Cactus come alive.

Take the Rainbow Valley trail to the Dysart trail to the Toot-something trail to have a nice moderate 4.6 mile loop hike.

It says it's a 6.6 mile hike when in turn it was 8 miles. If you are looking for something serene and peaceful I wouldn't bother as you could hear the traffic from Estella Parkway.

Pretty long. Very little people on trail. goes to highest elevation in the park.

Nice loop. It took about 2 1/2 hours. Very serene. I did not see one other person.

Loved the trail. Do not take the dysart cut off. You will miss the beautiful part of the trail

Great loop trail in Estrella Mountain Regional Park. Mostly flat, but there are a few places where you traverse some washes. Also there is a decent ascent about half way through the hike giving some nice views of the area. This elevation gain is what makes this a moderate rated hike. This trail will be filled with wildflowers in the spring!

Beautiful trail that has just enough elevation changes to have a decent workout....and some great views of the valley, Goodyear and the White Tanks. This trail has wildflowers in the spring and also a lot of quartz throughout. Great trail that gives you just enough of the wonderful Estrella Mountain Park that you will have to come back. Stop in at the nature center and say hi to the friendly staff and then walk out the back doors and across the parking lot to the trail.

Park entrance fees are $6 per car unless you have an annual pass of course.

This trail is referred to as Rainbow North Loop trail. It is a beautiful trail, even better in the spring with the widflowers in bloom. Gets you back into the Estrella Mountain Park area where you will have views into Estrella Mountain Ranch area as well as Tres Rios golf course. Encountered 3 bikers, 2 trail runners and a handful of hikers on the hike today.

We did this in a counter clockwise fashion but can be done either way. Begin at the Rainbow Valley trailhead behind the rodeo arena, turn left onto Dysart Trail, turn left onto Toothaker trail and then right into the parking lot. Despite what the current map on here says, this is a 4.8 mile loop. Accurate trail info is shown in my recording.
