This was a gorgeous hike! I was surprised by all of the green vegetation and saguaros on this side of the mountain. It was a big climb but well worth the effort.

Great trail! Did it 2 weeks ago and there was a lot of water flowing. Had to cross probably 15 times. It was easy to spot the cairns on the opposite side of the creek (is it a creek?) so you know when to cross. The boulder canyon portion is quite overgrown, so long sleeves and pants are a good idea. We both clocked in at 12.6 miles and we stayed on the trail. Would definitely do this one again.

Just did this trail for the 1st time, great views, and it was all shade going up. I started at 7am on a weekday and only saw 2 other people who were on the way back down. It took longer then a hour going up but that is only to stop and take pictures . It was 40 degrees so no bees at the cave at the time. Will go again, and might look into the year long pass to the park/parks which I believe is $89.00 vs $7.00 per visit.

Easy hike but very rocky for the first mile. Great view of the bluffs of Superstition Mountains.

This hike is SO pretty!!! Absolutely loved the scenery and especially the view from the top. The cave is bigger than I expected & it’s so fun to explore! I would definitely love to go back with more time. I didn’t give 5 stars only because the trail was really hard for us to find... we ended up walking a ton and the “trail” is really really rocky so our feet were hurting a lot by the end. But definitely do it and just pull up the map from this app! So worth it!

Ran out of time today to make the summit. We will get an earlier start next time. Lots of water running in Boulder Canyon, with nine, easy, rock hop water crossings. Great hike, looking forward to to doing it again soon.

Great, easy trail for the family. More petroglyphs than I expected and decent water flow in the stream. Beautiful near sunset. The unfortunate part was other people’s kids who were touching the petroglyphs.

Definitely a challenge, but worth the hard work when you get to the top. Views along the way are great, and especially at the top! Bring plenty of water and a head lamp, just in case you’re coming down in the evening. Trail isn’t clearly marked at various points, so coming down at dusk or later can be extra challenging.

Love this cave..love this hike...i put out green ribbons to make my night decent easier....wish it was longer..And smells like bat pee!!

Good hike- located in Usery park, which requires a day fee or annual pass. This hike took 2-3 hours with my 8 year-old son and he can't wait to go again.

Love this hike! Tough, but always worth it. Wear good trail shoes and bring some water.

Love it...easy but Rocky

This is a great hike. but is not moderate. Per the Maricopa ratings on the trail maps, it is a difficult. Especially the last mile.

These easy trails produced a very nice, leisure walk with our dog. It was a very nice break from our moderate to hard trails the past 12 days.
