It's a very long day to drive from Fairbanks to the Arctic Circle. Seeing the Yukon river along the way was one of the highlights. Standing on the Arctic Circle was another. There is quite the variety of terrain along the way.

Very easy and beautiful

I really liked this trail as an easy walk to escape the city. It is all paved, but there are some opportunities to go into the woods if you like (near Earthquake Park for example). It also has the outer planets of the Solar System trail that starts at downtown Anchorage which is very cute and educational. I got up to Neptune -- next time I will make it to Pluto (six hours from the sun in downtown - I started too late).

Easy, quick, beautiful hike!

Easy, well marked trail with the first quarter mile of asphalt. Bring a jacket if it's windy... the breeze off the glacier is cold!
Since the glacier is receding, the overlook gets you close, but not quite up to it. can still get great pics.

easy trail to the overlook point.. good glacier view..

Nice easy trail to a beautiful waterfall.

Nice bike ride and easy trail. On a clear day you can see Mount Denali.

Very nice view

Amazing to be this close to the Glacier. Also interesting to see how much the Glacier has receded over the years!

Easy trail to get right to Nugget Falls with great views of Mendenhall Glacier and the mountains!

Humbling to stand next to this glacier and witness how big it once was based on the markers leading up the trail. A nice, easy hike/walk. I heard people snickering that I was carrying my pack, but I always do, if that lets you know how easy it was. Lol

Easy and VERY busy trail. Easily accessible.

Nice, easy trail that lets you get a good view of the exit glacier. Expect a lot of people.

It's easy I would say not moderate. Or maybe an easy moderate. Beautiful.

Because the Glacier recedes annually the trail doesn't get you right up to the Glacier but the viewpoint allow good views

Hiked around in July. Remember park opens at 10am. Nice greenery but definitely felt out of place walking. Would be more fun to do the Bowling Alley Trail on bike. Ski paths are wider and easier to walk and stay out of the way of bikes. Saw moose tracks everywhere but no moose!

Easy and beautiful! Did it with our toddler in a backpack no problem. Neat signs along the way to show how far out the glacier was at certain years that start as far back as when you drive in.

Perfect spot for hikers and bikers of all levels. Wildlife is abundant! This is a great spot to see moose and other critters.

Starts easy, some elevation at the end. Do it while you can, the glacier won’t be visible much longer. The outwash plain is amazing as well.

Great way to see the glacier. Lots of great spots for photos, views of the glacier and waterfall, and (sadly) lots of evidence of the glacier receding from the rocks on the road. Heavily trafficked to final viewing sandbar.

Excellent view of Exit Glacier, worth the hike!

Great trail for getting up close to Nugget Falls and the Mendenhall Glacier. Easy one mile stroll with a few easy up and downs. Probably doable with a stroller or wheelchair.
