Wonderful paved trail for walking or biking. Stunning views, beautiful ferns! Great educational nites about anchorage along the way!

Quiet hike would suggest bear spray!

This is a wonderful place to bike or walk. We use these trails just about everyday!

Some many uses, and very well located

If Flat Top is “hard”, this trip to the peak at times is harder, but well worth it. The climb from the Ballpark up the north side to the ridge line is loose gravel and steep so use what vegetation there is to your advantage. Be careful nearing the peak as the north side drop off is extreme.

Peaceful and quiet relaxing

Such an awesome trail, great to have this app to help me keep on the right path.

great trail nice stuff to see

Did basically the loop outlined here. Well maintained, but felt pretty boring for the area. Nice if you just want a flat area to roam instead of all of the peaks nearby. We did cut into the air field at one point and came upon a moose, which was really cool.

Really great family adventure! The best city view is a little past earthquake park about 4ish miles from 5th Ave in downtown Anchorage.

A nice city trail. There were plenty of mosquitoes! Nice views and lots of educational signs to read and learn. We parked at Earthquake Park.

Trail is in great condition and easy to follow, most snow has melted by the end of June but I still had to cross waist deep snow in one spot. Lots of unstable rocks so watch what’s above you on the final climb. My dog made it just shy of the top with no trouble. Beautiful view but should have worn running gators for snow and rocks. Took almost 3 hours

Definitely more hilly than I was expecting but it was a great ride! Woronzof Point Park was my favorite and we got to watch a few planes fly in above us to land. We also got super lucky and saw a moose near the earthquake park

Easy, nice walk after dinner! There was a lot of bike traffic, but still super nice!

Great trail for biking! I rented a 2 seater bike for me & my son from Pablo’s and experience on the trail was amazing.

This is an easy trail most of the way. I always keep my cramp ons in my bag and i wear gloves. Past the baseball field is a beautiful lake.

The scenic overlook in the parking has good views over the city. Once down on the trail, you can ski or snowshoe off trail. There are plenty of moose in the woods so be careful

starts off easy and then becomes extremely difficult until you reach the ridge line. amazing views. wear a good pair of shoes, it is muddy in the early spring.

I rented a bike from in town and immediately set out on the trail - it was great! Beautiful, paved route along the coast. Some of the route is along the water, most is through the trees nearby. Can become quite exhausting on the south half in the hills, prepare yourself! Routes beneath the approach end of Anchorage Int'l runways.

Great afternoon winter walk. We took an hour and a half doing the loop. Pretty busy with fat bikes and cross country skiing but not to the point that it took away from the walk. No animal sightings. I look forward to walking this trail in the spring and summer!

I loved the trails but a little overwhelming as to which one to go on, they do have maps ect though. Beautiful scenery and quiet, but not too quiet if you're a person hiking solo you'll feel safe.

Nice day out, about a foot of snow on the ground everywhere, but it wasn't falling. Sunny everywhere else but Girdwood (fog persisted above).
The trail was easy to follow and packed in from use. It's a pleasant winding path through the forest... calm running water from the creek below can be heard throughout most of the hike. Steady upward and secluded hike with switchbacks and a few knee raises.
You seemingly shake hands passing powerfully tall trees (the native Sitka Spruce) which feel ancient, wise, and comforting. In the winter, the snow accumulation on the branches here is simply insane.

Busy trail. Mostly flat. Good views.

Really enjoyed this trail. Feel safe enough to bring the kids along next time and if u have a decent jogging stroller u can bring it on this hike ! Plenty of people around !

Beautiful views of the ocean, mountains, and downtown Anchorage. Enjoy airplanes at the end of the runway.

For long walks, short jogs, or biking... it's a great trail!

Beautiful trail! Rented our bikes at Pablo's, easy trail, very scenic!

Even though there isn't many epic views it is still a great trail to connect with other trails.
