Perfect spot for hikers and bikers of all levels. Wildlife is abundant! This is a great spot to see moose and other critters.

Tons of trails in the area, well maintained, nice walk, bring bug spray. My wife, son and I went on a geocache adventure and hit many of theses trails. Nice area, I'll be coming back.

Some many uses, and very well located

Peaceful and quiet relaxing

Such an awesome trail, great to have this app to help me keep on the right path.

great trail nice stuff to see

Did basically the loop outlined here. Well maintained, but felt pretty boring for the area. Nice if you just want a flat area to roam instead of all of the peaks nearby. We did cut into the air field at one point and came upon a moose, which was really cool.

This was a great hike! The last half mile or so is quite steep but the view at the top is top notch. Keep an eye on the trail during the hike down, definitely got lost on a moose path through a bunch of wildflowers and had to bushwhack my way back through devils club to the main trail. Took me about 3 hours there and back.

Really great family adventure! The best city view is a little past earthquake park about 4ish miles from 5th Ave in downtown Anchorage.

A nice city trail. There were plenty of mosquitoes! Nice views and lots of educational signs to read and learn. We parked at Earthquake Park.

This is a favorite of ours when we just want to do a little hiking or geocaching in city limits.

Reminds me of Flattop but with loads less people. Moderate incline. Always take a jacket b/c the top is windy. Great view of Denali on a blue bird day.

Definitely more hilly than I was expecting but it was a great ride! Woronzof Point Park was my favorite and we got to watch a few planes fly in above us to land. We also got super lucky and saw a moose near the earthquake park

Nice hike. Once we got near the top, we mindlessly took the left path branch up to the peak. I'd not recommend that in June/July 2018 as it was super muddy (plus it's a little longer). We descended via the red line marked here and it was much better. Only real problem for us on 6/22 was that the mountain was under a cloud from about 2200ft up to the peak. Felt like that shitty Tom Jane movie 'the Mist' at the top. But somehow we lucked out with the timing and the clouds opened up just as we were about to start our descent and we were able to see deeper into Chugach to some gorgeous peaks. Made me very happy we'd lingered. That last 800ft or so up to the peak is no joke.

So stunning! Would you 100% recommend/do again

Easy, nice walk after dinner! There was a lot of bike traffic, but still super nice!

So beautiful in the winter, and summer, and spring, and fall... It's a great place.

The first few miles are paved, flat trails. An easy trek, good for a quick jog or walk with the pup.

Great trail for biking! I rented a 2 seater bike for me & my son from Pablo’s and experience on the trail was amazing.

The map is very miss leading. The actual trail continues South West all the way to Dimond Blvd and Victor Road.

Seemed like most people were on mountain bikes, I was one of a few people on foot. Lots of double track with sections of narrower trail. Great adventure and views that my aching feet and blisters distracted me from.

Love the inlet views from the beach! Some of the footpaths can be steep if you aren't wearing the proper shoes

10 miles off the Glen highway and five dollars to park. It's great for trail running and biking as it's mostly level with a spectacular view the full 7 miles to the other end of the lake. The first mile the trail is mostly shared with ATVs but everyone was good about slowing down to keep the amount of dust down. After that the running/biking trail occasionally meets up with the ATV trail. Definitely worth it.

Almost all the snow is gone! Easy ride, not much altitude change. Good for getting a taste of the outdoors and mostly not interacting with street traffic.

I rented a bike from in town and immediately set out on the trail - it was great! Beautiful, paved route along the coast. Some of the route is along the water, most is through the trees nearby. Can become quite exhausting on the south half in the hills, prepare yourself! Routes beneath the approach end of Anchorage Int'l runways.
