Beautiful. Make sure to not let your toddler bring a tricycle as they will come out in their golf carts and yell at you. It didn’t even cross my mind that this goes into the “biking” category. Kid goes slower than my slow walking pace

Great running trail! Be cautious that the bridge may be slippery. Walking the entire trail takes about an hr.

Beautiful spot for trail running! Most of it is paved, so it's nicer on the ankles and knees after a few days of hiking/trail running on rockier surfaces. :) Truly enjoyed it!

Dirty! There was trash everywhere and it smelled terrible!! The water looked very questionable and no walking trails near the water.

Great day on the water. Tons of rapids. Fairly easy paddle. Challenging to figure out where to exit the river if you get out at hwy 231. If you have the time go the distance and take out at hwy 84. Make sure to check the water levels before you go.

This is a really nice 3-mile walk around the lake. The trees make is hard to see the lake at points, but along the way we saw beautiful birds, turtles, lizards, and frogs. A great place for a relaxed walk or even a jog or run.

We have traveled through Ozark several times on our way to FL. I used all trails.com to look for an area to get out of the car and take a walking break. Very pleasant, quiet walk.

Love this trail around the lake! Perfect for walking or running. Paved for the first 2 miles, then gravel/dirt the last mile. Towards the end of the trail is a bit more elevation, good for a trail run. Love taking the dogs here. Usually there a just a few people (maybe no one else around!) on a weekday.

After a heavy rain, the yellow colored Choctawhatchee can offer a swift fun run, but after a short dry spell, this drop and pool class river becomes a drop and drag. Wildlife is plentiful along the river to include that large reptile, the alligator. The terrain changes as you paddle down the river. You find high limestone banks, rocky shoals and drops, and even a few small waterfalls.

Great, relaxing float. Mostly slow-moving water, perfect for a day of relaxing floating and fishing. The water can get low in places during periods of extended drought, but usually not low enough to become a problem. Plenty of sandy beaches to stop and take breaks or even swimming holes with rope swings built by locals. Fairly open river with sites to put in or pull out appearing every few hours, so it's great for a trip lasting just a few hours to a few days.
