very nice boardwalk

Very nice board. Not too many picture plants this time of year but the ones we saw were nice.

An easy walk to the bay. Not a whole lot to it. Unless you like pitcher plants.

Still too early to see the pitcher plants, but things are starting to green a bit and there are little anole lizards skittering about. The boardwalk is in fine condition, perfect for a short, easy walk with a view of the waterway at the end.

We go to this trail often! I load the dogs up and love getting to enjoy this easy trail with them. Pay attention to where you step and don’t step off the boardwalk, snakes love this area and we have found very angry Cottonmouths before. The boardwalk is both pet and family friendly and has an awesome water view at the end. After you finish the boardwalk, if you’re feeling adventurous, check out the wooded trails by the parking lot! I highly recommend bug spray and long pants for that trail. It’s also easy to get turned around in the woods since the trails are unmarked, so give yourself plenty of daylight!

Short very easy 30-45 minute hikes onto Boardwalk as well as on ground trails. An elevated boardwalk crossing over a beautiful bog filled with many picture plants.. depending on time of year picture plants as well as other wild flowers are in bloom. Continue on boardwalk leading to an access to Fish River then back. Parking lot is on opposite side of road where there are additional walking trails behind the parking area. These trails make circular loops onto themselves. Deer, rabbit and other animal trails run throughout. Have never seen any poison ivy/oak and only the occasional garden snake.

Short but scenic trail boardwalked in its entirety. I wouldn’t want to walk down in that stuff otherwise. Lots of pitcher plants. The view of the water at the end is a nice ending point.
