I really appreciate all of those who work so hard to maintain these trails. They offer a wide variety of difficulty for all skill sets.

This is a good trail for a calm afternoon, not a challenge. This park is great on the week days but gets way too crowded for my taste on the weekends. I would rate this trail for a Friday afternoon light traffic, which is great for a reactive dog (like I have) to get some exercise.

went a few weeks ago. boring at first along the road, but once you get to the waterfall it's great! hiked (rolled) down to the base of the waterfall then hiked along the creek to the second waterfall. both are beautiful. we decided to climb out and up to the top next to the "cave" near the second waterfall then walked back to the trail along the logging road. feet got wet a few times.

I’m here quite often. Bathrooms at the bait house. Plenty of parking. Rest points along the way. Lots to enjoy.

Wife & I did this trail on mountain bikes. This was an easy trail. Nice views.

I'm not sure why this is rated moderate, it is very level and most of it is a boardwalk over the water. It is a very peaceful walk and only about a 5 or 6 min drive from town.

Kinda strange how the trails are marked but it was nice.

Very pretty hike. 3 miles round trip. Nice stream that you follow most of the way. Very little elevation gain. Easy day hike, no overlooks to be seen. I don’t know where the photo came from of the overlook.

Nice flat with a little rolling hills. Fun little hike in the woods. Plenty of benches to rest on and the trail is well marked.

This is my first trail in Alabama while I’m on co-op and I am definitely coming back. It is pretty nice alittle steep in some places but the view is worth it. I didn’t get to see the plane wreckage but I was later told where to find it at and definitely going back to see it

Definitely agree with others, my watch clocked this trail just under 8 miles in and out from the Alabama side. The water is really flowing right now with all the rain. My cell lost service on the backroads so would recommend don’t stop your map app while driving if you’re unfamiliar with the area.

Nice short trail at an interesting historical location. Nice mesh of birds. The trail was paved but often with a lot of moss which makes it not entirely safe when it is wet.

Lots of birds and fascinating lichen.

Good trail, the shelter at the top is nice, needs hikers to practice “leave no trace” but it would be a great overnight spot...fairly easy, has a couple of moderately steep areas but overall a great trail.

This trail is in Blakeley State Park. It cost $4 for adults and $3 for kids to get in. Overall it’s a decent trail. And once your in the Park there are many more trail options. Also make sure to check out the Boardwalk area of the park, and the old court house too. Side note: the Taitt trail was not on the map I received. If you find yourself lost here, like myself, you are on or connected to the Hallet’s trail and near the Squirrels Nest trail. I didn’t take Taitt’s trail so I personally don’t know where it goes.

It’s a nice little trail. Great view of downtown when on the bay. Public area, but very low traffic. Cute little pier and beach area, great spot for a picnic and/or afternoon date walk. Also, there’s an Eagle Scout trail that roughs it a little more, but it connects to the main gravel trail again.

Steep in some places. Was misty and a little wet today. Glad I had my poles for the steeper parts. Cave is very cool looking. Had both Kinglets. Downey, pileated, yellow bellied and red bellies woodpeckers. Both nuthatches. C wren, chickadee and t titmouse.

Awesome beginner hiking trail for friends just starting to hike a little with me. Not too strenuous but very pretty scenery even in wintertime landscape. We had a lot of fun and look forward to heading out again on this and other nearby easy to moderate trails while my friend is getting her trail legs! love the trails in Alabama! Amazing! The BIG AT IS WHERE MY HEART IS THOUGH! LOVE FLAGG MOUNTAIN, ADAMS AND SKY LOOP TRAIL IN THE TALEDEGA NATIONAL FOREST!

Abby and I hiked this trail today. The outline of the trail looks like Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants (sort of), so we named it the Patrick trail. We ran short on time so we didn't get Patrick's left leg, which would have been the hardest part.

The pictures do this fall no justice. Very beautiful and scenic. The bluffs along the trail and surrounding the falls are spectacular. A must visit.

We did the trail counter clockwise. It was a hard trail for me, but my daughter (20 years old) was a beast. I think she could have done the 19-20 miles in one day. Anyhow, great trail. We camped on the trail one night.

This trail was quite impressive! I headed out early this morning with my day pack, and my dog. I got there roughly around 9 or so. The yellow trail is actually called campfire trail. This connects to Blue/Orange yellow/white etc etc. upon starting really early we weren’t even half mile in a we came across ten or so deer in the woods and they all pranced off naturally. You’ll see that throughout the hike that they’re a lot of wildlife, none of which are dangerous of course. This trail is good for kids, as it’s mostly wide trails with not a lot of rocky terrain. These trails are frequented by horses as there’s droppings here and there along the way. Pretty hard to miss, but watch out! It does go out and around the lake/water areas. I packed a lunch, and ate on the rocks about 7 miles in. Definitely recommend it!
