I would rate this as easy not moderate. It was not hard at all. Lots of dog poop on the trail ugh! It was really neat seeing the old ruins and mine shafts. The rope bridge was fun to cross.

Very easy, flat, and mostly paved trail with beautiful views of downtown Birmingham

Very good trail for kids and dog; running creek, small waterfall, and great nature close to town.

lizard loop trail is a nice flat hike but if you turn off the trail about half way its a little rough i wasn't expecting to that after work but there are some cool old brick buildings back there ..i plan on going back when I have more time.

Lots of LARGE downed trees blocking the trails. Otherwise, trails are very well marked.

Steer clear of this one. It is a very unsafe area. I grew up there in the 80s and it was nice now it is just another inner city ghetto. I have a friend in the fire station there that says most of the crime is not reported in the news.

Trail was very nice and safe. Lots of runners, bikers and walkers. But not that crowded

We had a great hike today. Went to Grace's Gap via mine 13/14. I would say the trail was moderate with the temperature being in the nineties. Great get-away for the Covid restrictions.

We had a great hike today going out to Grace's Gap. I would rate this hike as moderate considering the temperature is in the nineties. Drink a full 32oz Nalgene bottle and a small Gatorade. Also stopped at mine 13 and 14 along the way. great views from GG.

definitely a challenge with a lot of roots and rocks and very easy to lose track of which trail you're on, but the waterfalls are gorgeous and I had fun despite wanting to die by the end

Bird Watching

Pleasant little nature trail that’s about half a mile in length. Saw ducks, geese, and other birds out there. A lot of hydrangeas and even a tiny patch of Cahaba lilies that was still blooming in early July. A lot of other flowers along the way too. Partially paved, partially gravel and dirt. A nice spot for a quick walk if you’re in the neighborhood.
