This is a good park to visit if you are already in the area, but it’s not the kind of place that you would seek out otherwise.

First of all, the trail is both short and paved. It pretty much is a giant rectangle that goes along the perimeter of Capitol Park. If you live in the area, I think this would be a good place to practice a 5K in the early morning before people start coming to work at the nearby office buildings.

It gets very busy over the lunch hour, so while you could still walk then, you will have to dodge lots of people if you want to practice running during that time.

Overall, a nice place for a walk, but nothing to seek out for people outside of the immediate area.

good walk

Quiet little hike. After 9 am, it gets busy.

No better place to watch the sunset.

Love this place. Perfect for biking

So many Trail options once you get there. Best maps and signage of any park I’ve seen. You can hike near the water for 7 Miles in a loop.

Very easy hike but it does have a constant steady incline the whole way. There are rest points with amazing views and fun historical facts you can read along the way. There is no shade so be prepared for constant sun exposure. If you have little tikes who may tire, bring a stroller or wagon. If you do this during the right months, you are almost guaranteed to see whales.

Beautiful views. No micro spikes needed today. Note the $8 entry fee for cars or $3 walk-in fee as this is located in Eldorado Canyon State Park.

I love this trail! It is a daily walk for me and my puppy. If you are walking your dog be cautious of people who let there dogs off leash on this trail. I see this almost daily.

But worth it! My legs killed by the end of this one! No water on the trail, make sure to bring plenty.

Get up there early or you'll feel like your on the I-5 during rush hour... Otherwise it's a pretty decent view from the top which, after so many times I try not to take for granted.

Super easy stroll. The snow added to the gorgeous element as well.

We did this Hike last June and loved it- beautiful area outside of Fayetteville NC

It seemed like it took forever since most of the time you are looking into an empty field. This was my first time but overall I did like it so it wouldn’t be my last.

I enjoy this trails every time I go

Easy hike, well maintained and even if you get lost it’s easy to end up at the parking lot! Lots of nice bridges and creeks. Perfect quick little 2 mile hike

Good trail nice views. Depending upon which trail you take, it’s relatively flat. High bridge and beaver bridge trails have some steep slopes.
Nice walking trails. Good parking.
