NOT AN EASY TRAIL. My husband and I came to this specific trail bc it advertised wheelchair friendly, he has a prosthetic leg and this hike was a killer on him! 4.2 miles up-down, tree vines, rocks... I'd say it's closer to difficult! Also, there must be a good rain for the falls to be there. No falls today.

Super easy trail I've been walking and running it my whole life! Well maintained with a beautiful view of the river. But better to avoid in the evenings if possible.

Dogs loved being off leash to explore. If walking on the unsaved side rather than the paved side mind the trails that veer to the left about half mile down as there is a trafficked road. The last .2 is washed out so there is potentially lose your footing. Overall, when on the unsaved side, it’s a great way to ‘escape’ the city and the dogs love it.

Mommy of 5- 3 of them in a stroller. 2 on bikes. PROS: clean smooth pavement, friendly people, dog friendly, plenty parks along the way, right amount of shade and sun, no huge inclines, runs along the water CONS: very crowded. Do not let your kids out of strollers cause there are a lot of bikers. Try to remember some people are there to stroll not a brisk walk, jog, run, or bike so you may need to shout “on your left..” OVERALL: I have walked the trail from 3500s through 7000s (not all at once) we walk this trail at least 1x a week. By far my favorite. LIKELIHOOD OF RETURNING: high

Good for a quick run or walk.

Mommy of 5- I have 3 kids in a stroller. My 2 oldest rode their bike. PROS: light traffic, smooth, enough incline that keeps your blood going but not pumping. CONS: no shade (until you go under the bridge), don’t let kids ride their bikes on the dirt path my daughter popped her tire on something LIKELIHOOD OF RETURNING: low

The inclines over the overpasses are tough but mostly flat fir a bike ride.

Very easy trail. Not much of hiking mostly a nice walk.

I’ve read some of the reviews and thought I needed to give this a try. I’m glad I did. I did the entire outside loop. This will be good for running because the trails are flat and wide. I saw a few turtles, especially one that was swimming. There were a ton of tadpoles too. Not too busy and the weather was perfect. This would probably be a great trail to do cross country skiing during the winter. Thank you to the positive reviewers. I tried this because of them. I will definitely make many returns in the near future.

Just tried to do this hike today and the access road is still closed.

Nice trail. Lots of deer at dusk.

One of my favorite paved trails for running and biking. Beautiful scenery

This one is super awesome! It was a little muddy but it just rained so I can’t complain. If you’re trying to stay away from people now due to covid, I suggest you drive a little deeper once entering and you’ll find it less congested.

Trail is extremely narrow and overgrown. It will need some serious work to make it a nice mountain bike trail again.

This trail was good for walking, and very kid friendly. I was looking for more of a hiking trail, and this was not it. So if you’re looking to hike, it’s not existent at this park. The trail was well marked and paved, and there wasn’t too much congestion of people. However there were a few moments where people got in my way, and I had to awkwardly go around them. There are a lot of houses around the park, and they have signs up marking were the property line was, however I found it inconvenient, because it felt like we were literally standing in people’s back yards. There is not many places for shade, or too cool down, and there isn’t really anything to look at besides a large prairie area. This is good for an afternoon after work to wind down though, get some very mild exercise, and a good place to walk dogs, or get the kids out of the house. It’s a decent park though, especially for where it’s located.

There were so many downed trees and fire crews everywhere! So we had to scramble to find a trail and then we didn’t know if we weren’t allowed as they had blocked bridges and were cutting trees around us so we cut our hike short and back tracked. I will go back again. It was nice overall.

Sections of the trail flood by the playground and King’s Highway but avoided easily enough. Relaxing walk if you live nearby, parking is always available if you don’t.
