Good trail for easy bike ride

Beautiful view, nicely maintained trail, kid friendly and high foot traffic. Wish it was a little less busy but it was a VT summer day, can’t expect to have the trail to ourselves. Was a great hike with the kiddo.

Nice bike ride with a few hills. Paved for the 11.5 miles. Easy to moderate depending on your level and bike training.

Awesome trail. Great for running and biking.. Tons of iguanas.

Amazing views!!! Marmots and chipmunks everywhere! Remember your sunscreen cuz we forgot and 7 miles in the sun with the reflection of the snow left a nice burn....no tree canopy to shield ya. Totally totally unbelievably beautiful!!!

Fantastic trail to ride. From Falls lake in north raleigh to Riverwood in Clayton (and eventually further). Can't wait for the continuation. I have ridden the full length and it has many variations, spots great for the family or weekend rider all the way to challenging hills for the serious rider. It also connects to several other popular trails. Careful of some bridges as they are beginning to show some age. As I write this, they are about to start repairs on one of the bigger bridges between Buffalo park and Anderson pointe. No detour, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, enjoy. It's definitely my favorite trail in the triangle.

Very nice, easy hike. No bugs, no mud, and beautiful views of the lake!

Did this after Angels Landing. Went about half mile up the River into the Narrows. The water never got much over knees. Saw Mitt Romney Hiking with family.

Great scenery with a little bit of history. The pavement is well taken care of.

Beautiful views!! Paved road the entire way, it’s exposed so it will be hot to walk on during the middle of the day.

It was very good even though it’s summer & it was a bit hot

Cool wildlife but it smelt really gross.

Love this trail, great for a quick morning hike. Lots to see . My kids love it.

LOVED this trail! Shade, off leash for dogs and a babbling creek the entire way for the kids and furry friends to play in. When we visit Utah again we will surely return!

Surprisingly nice little walk through the Damonte Ranch Wetlands. This easy 3 mile paved trail is a great spot for birding. Also, the best playground I've found in town would make it a great place to bring the kiddos.

It’s very short, with no views, but still a decent stroll and a high point nonetheless. The trail is very well marked and easy to follow. There’s a cairn at the top which marks the high point.

Beautiful, relaxing

Paved loop around a reservoir. First 1/4 mile is up to reach the loop. Paved trail. No tree cover, so can be brutal on hot days. Nice, pleasant walk we have taken with our kids. Good family walk as is stroller friendly.

Trail surface: grass and mud, have had a lot of rain this year. Bugs: we did the three mile Outer Loop and almost turned back due to swarms of mosquitoes, also found ticks on me and my husband when we got home. Scenery: Really beautiful, but not much variation, wooded areas, grassy areas, wood bridges and river. Elevation gain: even though map claims some elevation feels essential flat. Amenities: Visitor Center very nice, restrooms very clean, staff very friendly, drinking fountain outside building, ample parking. Overall a lovely hike but mosquitoes a huge problem.

had planned to walk this with my kids, but the weather didn't cooperate and when we got there we saw a sign advising us that we are in bear country and bear spray was recommended. I would have brought some had i known this sooner. so we drove instead. we mostly saw ducks and just a few other birds. the wildflowers were pretty. we're did walk out on the boardwalk and my kids saw an otter they said. the visitors center was closed due to staffing issues.

The best hike to see all the Memorials and White House. Very easy, gets rather crowded at times. If you go during summer bring water and keep children/pets hydrated. Take your time, it's an enjoyable way to visit our Nation's History.

Was a great little trail. We had it all to ourselves.
This would be a great walk for young children as well.
We had an illusion that we were walking slightly down hill both ways

This is a wide chat trail for the first half before descending down steps into a forest. The last half of the trail is rocky and slowly ascends back to the trailhead. The map on this app shows the Lake View Bend Trail loop and not the Fawn Ridge Trail, which is 1.25 miles and blazed yellow. We actually saw a doe cleaning her fawn just off the trail and a total of 13 very tame deer.

Arch and homeless. That's all I have to say. If you want drugs, take this trail. Also, there is a big curved Arch.

Not exactly a walk through nature. trail goes through a neighborhood, along the road and past some storage facilities. did appreciate benches tho. overall not bad but I don't think it's one we will do again.

It’s not an hike, but the view is amazing!

Nice walk, one trail requires boots as it's very wet but it's clearly marked and let's you know. shoe cleaning available when leaving the trail too.

bring bug spray! there are lots of mosquitoes. there is a community can of OFF! which I really appreciate.

very relaxed, light traffic on a Sunday morning

Favorite place to walk!!! The views are amazing!!!! I go a few times a week. Really enjoy it, and relaxing.
