Hiked this afternoon and loved the view. This was a challenging trail for me but my walking stick really helped.

This trail rated easy is misleading for anyone with balance, knee or back issues. My girlfriend found boring and non attractive. And very difficult.

Good trail. Seems more like a walk at first. If you go passed the stairs and up it is more challenging. Good views!

This trail is difficult but the pay off with the views makes it worth it.

best ocean views I have ever seen

Nice trail. Only view is at the bottom, but it is beautiful. Narrow and probably not good for small children. Mostly shaded until near beach.

Asphalt parking lot at the start. Is sea level and sand gravel most of the way. Take snorkel and goggles (and flip flops or aquasocks) for stops to cool off along the way. Wear sunscreen and take plenty of water.

Lake is currently dry due to drought

Easy short hike

There is a gate covering the entrance of the trail with a “No trespassing sign” ....but pay it no attention. The hike is a nice nature walk with some steep sections and not very challenging. The beach was incredible and we had it all to ourselves!! The only issue was the lack of shade on the beach and the scalding hot sand, but we put some towels out and were just fine. The water was amazing with lots of fish and some small rocks/reefs here and there. If you’re on St Thomas and looking for a local secret this is the place! We had lots of fun and it was an unbeatable beach.

Great view of the bay. Trail leads to Honeymoon beach, which is fantastic.

Easy hike with beautiful vista views.

The trail has some beautiful views of Cruz Bay! There are a few areas with uneven rocks and some incline, but I think the easy rating is fair. Honeymoon beach is beautiful, and the Lindpoint overlook is worth stopping at. Enjoyed this hike!

Easy walk along the beach and shoreline.

This is a beautiful beach. If you can find parking nearby it is worth the stop. This isn’t a hike, it’s a stroll along the shore at the beach. Wear a bikini and reef safe sunscreen. Jump in for a snorkel. It’s all good.

We hiked this flat trail out to Waterlemon Cay where the snorkeling was the best on the island. Snorkel on the east side of Waterlemon Cay. Incredible schools of fish and purple sea lettuce and a deep reef on the north end. The west side of the Cay is sandy and uninteresting so swim back to shore the same way you came on the east side. If you are not an experienced swimmer, bring assistance (fins or noodle). It’s a good swim. On our hike out a baby shark followed us on the shore of the bay. Turn left out of the trail to the Annaberg Ruins which have an exquisite view of eight of the nearby islands. Don’t skip the Annaberg Ruins on your way out! It’s right there. Best and brightest blues of the water can be seen here. Definitely my favorite easy hike.

Seriously, we walked this short trail after dinner in our sandals to see the sunset. Pretty views of the north side from the top and a spectacular place to watch the sun set. Perfectly level at the top. I bet they have yoga or painting classes up there. Looks like there is a little trail down to Trunk Bay too.

This easy trail takes you to a beautiful beach but also to Ram Head point which is beautiful!

This trail is basically access to Ram Head Trail which is a five star Trail. Don’t stop at the Salt Pond Bay! Snorkel there after you complete the Ram Head Trail.

Yawzi Trail is a fabulous little hike we did in our flip flops after snorkeling at Little Lameshur Bay. Gorgeous views of the water and both Little and Great Lameshur Bay. The views from the peninsula are stunning. Hike is super easy.

Easy hike. Great views of the south side of the island; unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. Direct sunlight (no shade); nice tradewind breeze.

Overgrown, no signs, off the beaten path. Best beach on st thomas.

Wife and I enjoyed a short jaunt with our 3 and 4 year old. Pretty rocky in parts but nothing a preschooler can’t handle. Nice vista of the bay.

This was a good trail but the majority of the incline in the beginning has loose rocks which are difficult with my ankles. Other than that it was enjoyable. There are many different arms you can choose while on the trial. We did the petroglyph arm and the arm on the reef bay trail to the factory. STJ never fails to produce beautiful views.

Super easy little trail. It started raining in the middle so it was slippery because of the rocks.

Great trail - there are 2 entrances from the top - one you can park at that is a longer hike and another most cabs will drop you off at - peaceful either way and easy - and the reward is a swim in the ocean that is typically always calm with plentiful gorgeous white sand!

Gorgeous views from parts of the trail! Also, it wasn’t a huge deal for us but the second half or so of the trail was a bit overgrown. Note that as of 1/3/19 the Caneel Hill Resort was still closed and no access was allowed, so if you’re looking to hike and then hit that beach area just adjust your post-hike plans accordingly. Luckily the hike (if you’re doing just one way and not RT) ends at a road where taxis are passing by (we got one in less than 5 min) and can take you to nearby Trunk Bay (approx 5-8 min taxi ride from the trail), Cinnamon Bay or wherever else you need to go. Bonus: super easy to get to after getting off the ferry in Cruz Bay. Approx 5 min walk from ferry dock to the start of the trail.
