I found the trail not well enough sign posted, we could not finish it unfortunately

Great trail. Coming down as you do the trail clockwise can be a bit tricky as the trail is quite rundown.

very interesting

This is a very scenic hike, right from the rock scrambles to the plateau to the view of the valley from Kinder Downfall. There is some amount of s rambling to the top, and I lost the trail on the top to kinder downfall and was walking along a bog (wet and muddy), but finding the trail again gave a me a great sense of accomplishment. The hike ends along the Pennine Way where you can meet the bay packers walking to/from Scotland!

Absolutely worth the climb. The views are great at every point, but when you get to the top and get the 360 degree perspective, it’s truly beautiful. Wonderful to have a wilderness experience so close to the city streets of Edinburgh.

Very good walk and very simple, perfect for family’s

Just wonderful! So calm, so peaceful!

Love this trail

I’ve climbed Tryfan’s North Ridge several times and it’s one of my favourite routes anywhere. It’s a scramble up a mountain rather than a walk and compared to other AllTrails walks I’ve done graded as ‘moderate’ it’s well at the top of that description. The rapid ascent will give you a workout and the views are fantastic on a clear day. Route finding- although you’re heading for the summit so, in principle, just keep going up, there are many ways to the top and you need to watch out for parts that are quite exposed or gullies that end in unclimbable rock walls. I usually go for maximum scrambling and there are plenty of challenges that for me are on the verge of needing a rope. In inclement weather the rock can be much more slippery.

Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day! This easy walk/hike offers surprises around the very turn. Filled with magic, mystery, and breathtaking views it’s a place to visit!

Beautiful falls and pools that are set in a picturesque valley, surrounded by majestic mountains of luminous green. The path follows the stream, and in a couple of spaces there are a few rocks to hop, all well worth the journey.

my first hike for nearly over 10years, had an amazing day the view wernt the best because of low clouds but what a climb, very rocky at the start but the path gets easier as you go, just keep thinking your nearly there and you'll do it, that's my motto and I conquered it of to snowdan next week then the big Ben Nevis after then hitting irish peaks, I can say the pike got me attached.

I really enjoyed this and did it within 3 hours. Head for Australia lake (as it's shaped) and follow the path up. It gets quite loose near the top. Reach the style on the wall but don't go over it. Instead turn left and follow the wall, always stay this side of the wall. Where the path hits the final ascent it is not terribly clear but just look for where the rocks are discoloured slightly from other users and follow them. You will need to scramble/climb this last section but I wouldn't call it dangerous. Say hello to Adam and Eve at the top!

Things to bare in mind. Has it rained in the last few days? This could mean mud and wet slippery rocks.
If there's been little rain in recent weeks the waterfalls can almost run dry.

Nice view :)

Went on this hike yesterday and took a 9 and 10yr old. We left out the summits and headed straight to the saddle for spectacular views. The children’s parents did this same hike years ago as children too and everyone loved it. It’s hard going at parts but so enjoyable. Fabulous day out!

My husband and I were in Scotland for our 20th anniversary and wanted a fairly easy hike. This fit the bill. It was beautiful even with the crowd. We were there in October so it was busy but not overwhelmingly so. I can imagine it would be packed in other months.

Beast of a hike but awesome!

Great climb, wall falls! View!

First time good views from top

Really beautiful trail with fantastic views at the summit

Great views. Fairly challenging in places.

A nice easy route for a quick weekend walk with some lovely scenery. Would recommend the longer route around Rutland water if biking. The pub in Hambleton is definitely worth stopping at afterwards.

Took this route going up to the summit of Snowdon on Monday 2nd July. Views were amazing to see in all directions.

Love this route. Can be very muddy in winter so wear proper footwear. Easy in summer - I did in sandals. Some ups and downs but still an easy walk. Enjoy!

I hiked this exact map yesterday and must say, it isn’t as easy as made out. Although when at the top of the summit it is spectacular

This trail is rated as moderate because of its length; it is by no means a moderate ascent. Be in good shape and prepare for a challenging but doable rock scramble to reach the top. Views are definitely worth the ascent and scramble. The descent is hard, steep and footing is tricky. We had rare sunny weather in Glencoe. Quite an amazing experience.

The easiest route up the mountain. Takes a bit longer but easy to navigate. Little cafe at halfway during peak months.
