This walk was very beautiful. We went anti-clockwise.

However, we went on a scorching bank holiday Monday and the place was PACKED. Also, be aware that the route shown on this app requires a walk across stepping stones through a shallow river. I can't imagine the stones being a challenge for anyone out walking, but today, because of the queue, it took about 20 min to cross. we ended up walking 5 min back down the trail across a bridge and back up on the far bank. The people in front of us in the queue had still not crossed!

All this to say, it's a stunning walk, with a variety of scenery, a river, woods, open fields and small but challenging changes in elevation. I can only imaging how nice it would be on a crisp winter morning (not the hottest bank holiday Monday since records began!!)

it a good thing to have

Went only by the river though

Sandy beach start of the hike with light drizzle. But the beauty of this penninsula is equal whatever conditions are. Climbing the head clouds started disappearing and we had the most spectacular nature experience out there.
It is a must walk this trail... forget the Wrath struggle cone to this free trail

Easy light walk with good views along the river.

Beautiful walking in Malvern

Watch out when walking around the islands. The sand is covered in oil but it’s not visible until you start walking on it.

These islands are in Merseyside not Staffordshire. Caution - The route is only passable at low tide.

Brilliant trail, single-track descents are awesome. Fire road climbs.

It is a nice place to walk and relax. We saw seals swimming and playing near the beach. Worth visiting it.

Great walk in nice weather.

Walk through the path of all the islands or risk of quicksand.

Great trek, to get the heart pumping take the dirt path from car park to the summit of Midsummer Hill. Views from all sides. Stop and enjoy the flowers in bloom and the wildlife.

Really enjoyed this walk. The app allowed me to go completely off piste and still get back to the car with no stress. Perfect

A lovely walk out to the island.

Very nice, easy walk. Part along the river is very "soothing".

Very enjoyable walk. Mostly easygoing terrain but with a few steep spots that required scrambling. Not ideal for very young children, but any active child over 6 should be fine. The Alltrails route passes through a carpark where a food van sells tea, coffee, ice cream, snacks etc. (This was open and trading even on Easter Sunday). The route is a nice mix of track, road and field. I was walking in the rain which made parts very muddy and restricted the views in the higher elevations, but even so I would recommend. Hiking solo at a moderate pace with a light pack took about 3 hours. Next time I'll take the diversion to look at Thor's Cave.
