love this walk great view on a clear day

This is lovely walk to do any time of the day (head torch at night) and any time of the year. If you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of seal pups!

The views are absolutely breathtaking. I had to keep stopping to take it all in!

Such a beautiful walk from Port Ballintrae to The Giants Causeway. From beach to cliffs ... so majestic!

What an amazing hike. Sheep, cattle & beautiful Irish country side on one side, Causeway cliffs & ocean view to the other side. Dunseverick castle is not exactly a castle, more like 3 small stone walls on a hill.

Fantastic trail with beautiful views over the city. Not too challenging and easy to find.

great hike. along the cliffs of the ocean almost the entire way. it might also be worth it to go to the role bridge. I recommend taking the bus to the end of your walk and walking back, because I had to stop before the bridge to be able to take the last bus back to my lodging.

Lovely path with a beautiful view of Scotland if you catch a nice day.

Yeah, it’s touristy but that’s how I got to see this place. Amazing history and an incredibly serene place. Would love to go back here if I ever get the chance.

Rope bridge is fun and the island is beautiful. A lot of tourists - go early.

A lot of tourists. Try to go early.

Great trail. Almost all of it is along the top of the cliffs by the ocean. A stretch on a nice beach too. I would maybe look at also going to the rope bridge while on this hike. It is about a mile further, but is a popular site. I would recommend taking the bus to the destination and walking back to your lodging as busses end around 6. This caused me to have to cut the trip to just this hike and go back to see the rope bridge on another day.

great view of Belfast. quite windy at the top but added to the atmosphere.

Begin at the interpretive panel in the parking lot for Belfast Castle. At the first fork, turn right. After this, stick to your left.

I did not do this so I had to do the opposite. As a result if I hadn’t turned around at various points I would have missed the caves and Devil’s Punchbowl.

This is a great hike and is easily accessible from the city. You an catch a bus from the city centre to the castle, walk uphill along the road to the castle. At the top of the hill you will get some stunning views of the city, especially around the section of the hill known as Napoleon’s nose.

Be aware that during rainy times some trails can be blocked to protect the public from falling stone due to erosion... how ever the walk on the cliff should be fine and always safe .
Amazing spectacular point of views.
Even if its very touristic as soon as you start to hike around it gets better as people usually just checks out the main rocks at the entrance.

Lovely walk with lovely views. We did this from the second car park which shortened it somewhat, due to the weather forecast. I do think the categorization “hard” is definitely not the case. It’s moderate at worst. The step climb near the top is a little strenuous, but very doable.

My Family from age 10 to 50 enjoyed this fairly easy walk. A bit of a climb up steps at the end. Was part of a longer loop, but partly closed to preserve some flora and fauna. Great views on a good day. £5 for car park.

My husband and I completed this hike yesterday. There is a continuous gradual incline. It takes a while to reach the actual boardwalk. The steps are only the last 10 mins of the walk. It’s a good hike and I’d walked at a fast pace can be a good workout. The views from the top are nice but not spectacular. However we will definitely do it again.
Note: there is a €6 charge to park your car! I thought this was a bit steep considering most outdoor activities in Ireland are free. For this price I would expect a portaloo for the paying public.

Great walk, awesome views and lake at the summit!

Amazing views from the top. Can’t believe this trail is almost on our door step. Will definitely be making the short trip to do it again.

Went on this hike yesterday and took a 9 and 10yr old. We left out the summits and headed straight to the saddle for spectacular views. The children’s parents did this same hike years ago as children too and everyone loved it. It’s hard going at parts but so enjoyable. Fabulous day out!

I hiked this exact map yesterday and must say, it isn’t as easy as made out. Although when at the top of the summit it is spectacular

I agree its not that easy but well worth it...

Sadly too crowded, but well worth the view. Bring warm clothes because the whether change rapidly, high winds coming from North sea. Really nice spot.

it's not that easy

Great wee trail for an easy hike. The wife and I along with the dog did this route couple weeks back. Highly recommend it. Easy route too

Loved this walk. Wasn't much of a hike except once into the island past the rope bridge there were some rocks to climb. But nonetheless an amazing place to wonder and explore. Some amazing panoramic views! So much to take in!
