Great walk, great exposure to sun and can see far for most of the walk.

The uphill trail in the middle was good for working out, and a jog down increased the heart rate. Tired by the end, but plenty of places to visit on the way back.

Would go back & recommend going back with friends and family.

Would go for a speedy trek if I wanted to work out... very nice to go, we came from Birmingham and appears to be local.

We wore, meindl men’s Cambridge GTX walking shoe, and salomon 3D 4 gtx womens. 32 degrees clear skies sunny all day

Terrible and of no use

Beautiful walk

Part pilgrims way, part farmland with good views, lots of stinging nettles!

A good trail which follows a signed Coldrum Trail for much of the way with an extension to take in the stones. At least that was our impression, as the markers were not always obvious and we used the app map several times. The stones are worth visiting, what an amazing find. Near there appeared to be a path which could cut the route in half for those that prefer a short hike. We had dogs and other than the Trosley country park itself we had them unleashed for much of the walk.

The Cotswold Way is a fabulous walk. I walked it over an 8 day period in March. It was very muddy and we still had snow on the ground but the scenery was spectacular.

The perfect short 1 hour hike. Absolutely beautiful. The wishing tree was a plus!

Done this walk many times with dogs and always enjoyed it no matter the weather

Beautiful walk with something for everyone can be difficult climb in places but worth the views
Lots of fallen trees over route so be careful

Half of the way was on a road without any foodpath.

Beautiful countryside walk. Parts of trail nearly impassable after recent rain.

Lovely walk around Buttermere. Waterfall. Easy trail. Did this walk the day before walking to Haystacks.

No parking at Beltring, so we parked at Yalding and walked in reverse.
Trail is on a very dangerous road initially near Beltring. We avoided this by simply turning around and going back to Yalding.

We wanted something for the whole family, and this hike had it all. The Heathersage Moor was delightful with the ferns, cotton grass, flowers, and slightly damp soils. We walked up to Carl Wark, which is an old (iron age?) fort. Then up to Higgor Tor, where the winds were blowing and had great views. Next you walk up to Upper Burbage to cross under the bridges then back along the Burbage Rocks. If you look at the rocks you can see thousands of bullet holes from the Army training drills from WWII. I think everyone was happy with this hike.

we chose this for our first walk/hike and it was a great starting point, my daughter is 3 and made it right round with a little help on daddy's shoulders. and the weather was very windy + it snowed a little at the top but well worth it for the amazing view.

Loads of walks and routes around the orchard.

It's only three stars because there are no stunning, magnificent views. You do get views of Thirlmere on a couple of occasions around the walk. Other than that, it's perfectly decent to while away an hour or so. Make sure you have the right footwear as the start of the walk which follows Dob Gill is fairly steep, rocky and in places marshy and muddy. The tarn is a treat and a great photo op.
