Nice little hike with the dog and there is a location in Dolebury Warren that has a Iron Hill fort which was built 3000 years ago! Pretty epic spot!

Lovely cliff side trail. Great views of the white chalk cliffs. Steep inclines in some places but very smooth walking.

This is a really fantastic walk. A man made path on one side rocky and difficult on the other. Many places to picnic.a really good first walk to discovering the lakes.

Ennerdale is quite a remote part of the lakes. Half of the loop is a well maintained track, however the opposite side of the lake is very rocky underfoot. Also in wet weather the trail is almost a stream off the fell! The scree section is fairly straight forward, but ( depending on which direction you take) the crag after it could be quite tricky as there is a little bit of climbing involved. The car park is free. ( Bowness knott) I would say it's a little harder than easy though!
