Fun easy walk along the river. Shipbuilding towns with semiconductor vistas and two charming villages.

one steep climb at the start but a nice couple of hours. lovely in the summer with all the heather and the grouse.
this is one I take the kids on as it's not difficult, has lovely views and a safe walk

Great circuit with beautiful views. The partner and I very much enjoyed this walk, leaving us eager to explore the nearby areas.

Great thanks for the route we couldn’t find Boo Tarn without this. Only saw two other hikers on first half of route then came down quarry path that was packed. Definitely do this one. Path isn’t too clear and I think we were off and on it but made it thanks to this app/ route.

Done this walk many times with dogs and always enjoyed it no matter the weather

Amazing walk. Beautiful surrondings. :)

Great hike! Unfortunately it was a cloudy misty day and views at top were limited.

nice easy walk, perfect for dogs

A beautiful place to explore, numerous waterfalls, big and small. Access to the river at several points so kids and dogs can have a paddle. There is a kiosk near the main waterfall, Thornton Force, and the area gets extremely busy on hot sunny days. very popular walk, highly recommended. Look out for the money trees!

Beautiful forest! Stunning natural heath with free roaming ponys. Hiked the White Moor section.

A lovely walk with some slopes and steps, but all lovely scenery. You have to pay to walk it as it's private property (£15 for a family ticket), but parking is included.

Fantastic hike to see a more remote part of the Lake District mountains and scale the peak of England. Be prepared for very rocky terrain and plan more time in your hike. It was cloudy and difficult to scale that last part to the peak. On the way back you will get to a turnoff that goes up (see arrow on rock). It is a bit challenging for a moment, but provides better views on the way back. This hike was way more tiring that a similar distance hike we did to The Old Man Coniston but well worth it for the views, the feeling of having the mountain to yourself, various creeks, and solitude.

Really fun hike even though we mistakenly turned left and went down Jacobs ladder, only to have to walk back up it haha.

Very nice hike, at times a little rough with ankle biting rocks, but very manageable. I went up towards Great Gable and decided that I had enough time to climb that one as well. It was a bit extra at 1500 feet to 2800 feet, and back down again, but I did have all day. Then went around the back side of Scafell Pike (although the corridor route looked like a good way to go). I lucked out and had a day with great views, and greatly enjoyed the high point of England. Coming back down along the route in this map was quite beautiful, with creek flowing, and all the sheep nearby made my day something unique for this American!

Good fun. Not toooo hard, but easy to get lost when the clouds come over so stick to the path. I recommended doing a loop round up to the path south of Great Gable, and down the valley back to Wasdale and end at the pub for a quick refreshment

there are 3 trails here all together one easy and 2 harder it's a good beginner trail but the trails could be a bit more flowy and more more jumps apart from that it's a great bike ride

We parked at the Stag and Hunstmen and had a drink before we set off. Their food menu looked really nice and the plan was to return for dinner however when we reached Henley it started raining suddenly quite heavily so we stopped at The Angel pub which is right on the bridge (food and service was awesome).
We saw lots of different birds and lots of activity on the river with rower.

Will definitely do this walk again, you could do it in reverse and just go to the Hambledon lock
