Great views, pathways are mostly in good condition. One section was very muddy (January) and required wellies! But will be a great walk when dry. Our dog really enjoyed it, but need to be aware of horse riders, mountain bikers and joggers who all share the paths.

nice easy walk, perfect for dogs

A beautiful place to explore, numerous waterfalls, big and small. Access to the river at several points so kids and dogs can have a paddle. There is a kiosk near the main waterfall, Thornton Force, and the area gets extremely busy on hot sunny days. very popular walk, highly recommended. Look out for the money trees!

Lovely walk around Buttermere. Waterfall. Easy trail. Did this walk the day before walking to Haystacks.

No parking at Beltring, so we parked at Yalding and walked in reverse.
Trail is on a very dangerous road initially near Beltring. We avoided this by simply turning around and going back to Yalding.

Poorly marked and limited instruction. On the day of the walk, another family was using the same or similar app and were also trying to crack the code of where to next. The trail just disappears in a couple of places.

A lovely walk with some slopes and steps, but all lovely scenery. You have to pay to walk it as it's private property (£15 for a family ticket), but parking is included.

Great place with lots of good views!

there are 3 trails here all together one easy and 2 harder it's a good beginner trail but the trails could be a bit more flowy and more more jumps apart from that it's a great bike ride

Nice trail that takes you up and around the country park. The path goes across the golf course and alongside crop fields. Nice views, and popular route makes for a nice walk.

Was more like 5 miles, and we did it in around 1hr 20m.

We parked at the Stag and Hunstmen and had a drink before we set off. Their food menu looked really nice and the plan was to return for dinner however when we reached Henley it started raining suddenly quite heavily so we stopped at The Angel pub which is right on the bridge (food and service was awesome).
We saw lots of different birds and lots of activity on the river with rower.

Will definitely do this walk again, you could do it in reverse and just go to the Hambledon lock

Such a lovely, easy walk. By the time I parked and walked to the lock and walked all the way to the Swan Pub & back we actually did 6.67 miles.
I had my dog off lead for pretty much the whole time and the river is very calm and slow flowing so she jumped in and out with no bother.
The trail is more or less completely flat the whole way, if it has been raining there can be a few muddy spots but walking boots will be absolutely fine.

The lock and weirs are pretty, there are lots of swans, geese and ducks all around and across the bank you pass by a huge Alpaca farm.

In Pangbourne there is a nice green for picnics with a pretty bridge or there are a few pubs that allow dogs. We ate at the Swan and the food was incredible (it has outside area as well over looking the river and Pangbourne weir.)

Most of this walk is spectacular. To avoid the built up area/walking through faversham on boring roads just turn around and walk back on yourself :) the marsh is the best bit. Prebook a table at the three mariners for after (it's gets busy at the weekend!) for the perfect day out.

Easy Walk for a Winters day when you need to keep warm and walk at a fast pace. Not muddy even when there has been a lot of rain

Much of this walk is very enjoyable but the busy road past ugly industrial and residential area spoils it.
