Fabulous walk and views

Pretty little Village. Walk starts off opposite a pub with stream and wide open space, follows along into woodland trail.

Pretty, various surfaces, no hills!

absolutely amazing walk.

very picturesque walk, enjoyed it very much. the signing not great around the woods post the national trust walk, the yellow marks no longer present on the trees and hence was difficult to follow. Otherwise enjoyed the walk

Fun and easy

beautiful views and a lovely hike

Beautiful walk, great for kids but children under 3 may struggle as you won't be able to take a pram through the trail and it's a long walk.

Beautiful trail full of water wonders, woodland and a fantastic ice cream van at the peak. A lovely little trail every time

Beautiful walk

the views along the route are amazing with great views of dover castle and the white cliffs along the way. the hike isnt too difficult and you can continue hiking past the lighthouse if you would like to spend some more time on the hike. it is about an hour or so to the lighthouse and another back plus time to sit and take pictures. overall a good hike with interesting scenery there is a shipwreck you can see on the shore that is pretty cool as well.

Great walk. Easy. Not a sole to be seen on the walk.

A good trail which follows a signed Coldrum Trail for much of the way with an extension to take in the stones. At least that was our impression, as the markers were not always obvious and we used the app map several times. The stones are worth visiting, what an amazing find. Near there appeared to be a path which could cut the route in half for those that prefer a short hike. We had dogs and other than the Trosley country park itself we had them unleashed for much of the walk.

One of the best mountain bike trails

The Cotswold Way is a fabulous walk. I walked it over an 8 day period in March. It was very muddy and we still had snow on the ground but the scenery was spectacular.

lovely walk,

Lovely route

Amazing walk and beautiful waterfall

Lovely walk if you stick to the canals.

Top place

Really pleasant loop that takes in a bit of everything.

A nice pleasant walk along the canal. Then through some farmland and into the woodlands as you climb the 195m to the top of the hill.

At the top is a nice walk along Greenham common where you can take in some great 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. Then back into the forest and down the hill back to the canal.

Not too difficult and a very nice 2hr walk.

Nice place to walk with many different routes to choose from depending how far you want to walk

I’ve done this walk loads of times. It’s a lovely area with a surprising amount of water.
It has its own car park which charges but it’s not much.
The main circular walk takes about 45mins and is flat. There’s plenty of benches along the way and extra bits you can add on if you fancy a longer walk. There’s also a playground for the kids.

awesome place to walk

Done this walk many times with dogs and always enjoyed it no matter the weather

Great views, pathways are mostly in good condition. One section was very muddy (January) and required wellies! But will be a great walk when dry. Our dog really enjoyed it, but need to be aware of horse riders, mountain bikers and joggers who all share the paths.

nice easy walk, perfect for dogs

A beautiful place to explore, numerous waterfalls, big and small. Access to the river at several points so kids and dogs can have a paddle. There is a kiosk near the main waterfall, Thornton Force, and the area gets extremely busy on hot sunny days. very popular walk, highly recommended. Look out for the money trees!
