Started from the Irish Sea at St Bees on July 11, 2018. A beautiful walk along the coastline past the lighthouse. We could see the Isle of Man off the coast. We headed inland through pastures then along a rail line to a path into Cleator. The steep climb started after Cleator leading up a steep dirt road near forest clear cutting fields. Afterwards there was a final steep trail up to the top of the hill that could be seen from Cleator. There were two cairns at this spot. From there we headed across the rolling hilltop to a steep rough downhill into the valley that led northward to Ennerdale.

the views along the route are amazing with great views of dover castle and the white cliffs along the way. the hike isnt too difficult and you can continue hiking past the lighthouse if you would like to spend some more time on the hike. it is about an hour or so to the lighthouse and another back plus time to sit and take pictures. overall a good hike with interesting scenery there is a shipwreck you can see on the shore that is pretty cool as well.

great trails, you can follow it in to portreath for a more challenging and technical ride!

Watch out when walking around the islands. The sand is covered in oil but it’s not visible until you start walking on it.

These islands are in Merseyside not Staffordshire. Caution - The route is only passable at low tide.

Just great! Durdle door is amazing

It is a nice place to walk and relax. We saw seals swimming and playing near the beach. Worth visiting it.

Great walk in nice weather.

Walk through the path of all the islands or risk of quicksand.

Lydstep to Saundersfoot (via Penally and Tenby) is a very good, and at times challenging, mountain bike ride. Best to avoid Winter months as certain areas can get overly muddy!

This place is amazing, the sheer size of the boulders that you get to walk between make you feel like an insect in the pebbles in your yard. If you ever find your way to this corner of the world please check out this wonder! The party of people that I was with sailed in and swam to shore but there is access via the road. That access is listed in my recordings. This place is phenomenal!!!

A lovely walk out to the island.

I love this walk and can recommend the Smugglers Inn at Osmington on the way. However in no way would I describe this as easy there are a lot of very steep climbs, especially at the Lulworth end.
In the Summer the X55 bus should take you back to Weymouth.

Gorgeous, remote, ocean views with lovely countryside. It does get very narrow and you are right by the edge of the cliff in some spots; be careful in windy conditions and watch out for the sheep that will block your path from time to time! I did a 5 mile stretch of the trail which was challenging yet pleasant.

Beautiful. We hiked from Ballycastle to bushmills the first day. Did soms whiskey tasting the second day. The third day we hiked to portstewart. Be prepared that some parts of the route (small parts) are not for walkers. Cars drive fast! Thats the only reason I would give this route 4 stars and not 5.

We have walked the trail from Dale to St David's. Absolutely gorgeous!

Small, cozy beach town with a gorgeous trail along the crags. You can't beat it.

Great to mountain bike if you just want a bimble in the sunshine as not too strenuous. Can get busy with pedestrians.
