Nice trail, though about 50% is on ATV and horse tour trails. The best parts are when you go off route to explore some of the cave dwellings. About halfway through the hike, make sure to make the detour to see the column church. It was probably the worst marked highlight of the whole hike!

A few suggestions: (1) if you have a car you can park and start/end the hike by Kaya Camping to avoid the slog through Goreme (2) do the hike between mid-day and sunset for the best colors on the rocks. I started at sunrise but didn't appreciate the colors of the formations until the sun hit them directly a little before noon 3) take a quick detour to check out Direkli Kilise (Column Church). It's a multi-level church carved into the mountains with a huge second level with floor-to-ceiling columns

Starting just before sunrise affords amazing scenes of hot air balloons rising over the valleys, and the panoramic view from Uchisar castle is unmatched in Cappadocia. Otherwise don't expect as interesting/dense "love rock" formations as in Pasabaglari or intricate rock villages as in Zelve (both highly recommended). Some short segments get slick and muddy after rain, and be prepared to take a creative detour if you encounter an aggressive pack of dogs right before the love rock formations around mile 2...

A really great way to see several highlights of Cappadocia. I’d really recommend it. Although just a warning that there are a few steep parts of the trail with loose gravel or sleek rocks. I had to crab crawl down a few parts and take it slow in many others. Don’t let that deter you though. It’s a beautiful trail well worth the effort!

merci pour cette belle randonnée qui nous permet de combiner 3 vallées et la visite du château. Je recommande vraiment, c'est très bien indiqué.

Amazing loop. Epic views the whole way. Perfect way to see a couple of valleys in one day.

Probably the most enjoyable hiking trail in Cappadocia as it features a bit of everything. Stunning rock formations, excellent views and a number of historic churches, some that feature impressive paintings. Route finding is relatively simple, but the number of alternate routes through each valley means its worth having a map to be sure you don't miss any churches. The tea gardens along the route are a really nice way to take a moment and relax, especially if it is warm. Certainly this was the most memorable of the trails we completed in Cappadocia.

Comfortable, easy hike that takes in many dramatic hoodos and features excellent views over Cappadocia. Located on the same road that leads to the open air museum, this is a perfect short hike to escape the crowds and take in the scenery.
