Hard start with pretty steep incline from the outset, and a bit of a scramble near the top! Trail easy to follow, cracking walk!

nice views at the top when there are no cloud. if you've got curly hair and you've straightened it your hair will become wet and curly again. alot of sheep are on the way which don't harm you, so that's good for people who get scared of sheep. beware, at the top there's a sudden gust of wind but if you go down a little bit the wind goes away completely. a great hike and there are a couple of places you can stop and take a rest. car parking costs a bit of money which is ok.

Great walk!! Tough initial climb but when you turn around a see the view it's so worth it... we started the walk at 06:00am and didn't see anyone else until we get to the top... the last vertical scramble is fun. It was misty at the top and the descent route was hard to find so we took a slight detour which worked perfectly ... also asked my GF to marry me and she said yes!!

Sensational hike, the views were just mind boggling but photos really do it no justice! Be ready as the peak is a continuous one but the view is your reward! The 2nd half of the journey is lovely past the small lake and streams. Plan for a sunny clear day as the views can see afar.

One of the best places to go! A lovely walk with different routes surrounding, and beautiful scenery along the way and a few sheep! Can face different weather conditions but is normally on the muddy side!

I did this walk anti-clockwise and I think the incline was slightly steadier than doing it the otherway. I would walk this way again as on the return leg I came down off the hill and straight into the carpark which I was grateful for. Parking is on a National Trust Car Park for £3 a day or free to members. Lanes approaching the carpark are single track. Gets very busy near summits and of course you have to queue to take a photo at the trig point but the rest of the route had far less traffic. 95% of paths very clear
