took the Riverside route up, path is non existent after a while. Had my Mrs with me who is OK with walking but this was something else, climbing through fallen trees landslides and having to cut a path up a mountain as the path isn't there anymore. eventually met the other path to sgwd yr eira which was fine and the return on the top track is perfectly fine. Definitely not 7k and definitely not easy even if taken the upper route there and back.

Nice walk but a shame I couldn’t find the return part of the walk. I don’t think it exists as many others seem to have had the same problem

Visited last weekend. Not easy but actually really dangerous at some places because the very narrow path on a cliff edge. We took it clockwise and this path may have been affected by landslide and fallen trees. Unfortunately at the last bit there was no path to be found and we had to turn back.

I don’t think it is an easy walk. The path for the path for the way was nowhere to be find so had to take the same route as they way there. The waterfall was amazing, well worth the walk but it is not 7,2 km. it was 6.2km the way there only!!

More moderate than easy but well worth it. Mind you have waterproof gear for the waterfall.

This is by no means an easy trail. We managed with kids but it is steep and treacherous in places. The start is steep but it eases out eventually. Walking down to the waterfall is not for the faint hearted! Glad we did it but definitely not an ‘easy’ walk!

Lower path (closest to river) is treacherous. Land slides have caused trees to fall across the path, even without the trees the path gets very narrow at points. Do not recommend!

Great hike with lots of variable routes. Very overgrown with downed trees across some of the trail, but to be expected in the current situation and not many people using the trail.

It’s not a circular walk!!! Beautiful views and what a magnificent waterfall, where you can walk behind it, have managed to complete this walk in 3 hours (1/2h rest by the waterfall)
