The Beacons Way is a 159.2 kilometer lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until September.

Most people tend to complete this trail from West to East starting in llangadog and finishing in Abergavenny. You will need to carry all your supplies in the western half as you do not pass towns or shops. Brecon is the best re-supply if you can get in from storey arms.

Enjoyed this route, climbs most of the peaks. Had it mostly to myself especially on the western my side :)

great trail, prefer west to east due to better public transport connections. This is one of the wilder trails in the UK sign posting few and far between you will need maps/gps
