A nice challenging walk with great views on a clear day. Note: many users say this trail gets difficult 3/4 of the way up especially with heavy wind. People also tend to walk down the train track (top section only) which makes coming down easier.

Great trail and pretty forward on the way up - the route was fairly busy even in winter and with the 50mph winds! We took the railroad way back which made it a bit safer in the harsh weather conditions, as the rocks 2/3rd of the way up was quite steep with snow patches. Will defiantly do again in the summer for the views and maybe take a harder path this time.

As others have said gets difficult 3/4 of the way up and with heavy wind it was difficult going but noticed lots of people walking down the train track (top section only) and we also did the same it made coming down and it made the walk down easier.

(June 17) Relatively easy route up Snowdon. Heavily trafficked as a lot of people park in Lanberis. Gets a bit steep about 3/4 of the way up. Take plenty of water and food as the shop at the top isn't always open.
