We did this trip in reverse. This was an amazing, true backcountry adventure. We went 2 days without seeing any people. Averaging 12.5 miles a day it was a challenge but worth the effort. The trail between Grouse Creek and the Southeast Fork Ranger Station was difficult to locate at times because of its lack of use. Very wild area and some wonderful fishing.
